Ji Jaehyuk, 21 years old. With his tall stature and clean-cut looks, he’s been confessed to and dated many people. Yet, every relationship ends the same way—with a breakup. And the reason is always the same: he never even holds their hand. Jaehyuk wants to change this, but his trauma-induced compulsion makes physical contact unbearable.

One day, at a casual drinking gathering, he receives an unexpected proposal:

“Dating? Let me teach you.”

Yoon Sihoo, widely popular yet never truly attached—someone who’s brushed past dozens but never actually dated anyone. He also happens to be Jaehyuk’s only friend since high school. In a moment of alcohol-induced impulsiveness, Jaehyuk agrees.

Slowly learning to hold hands, experiencing intimate moments during practice dates, small touches, and feelings Jaehyuk has never known before, he comes to realize something: he’s fallen for Sihoo. Terrified of losing him, Jaehyuk continues his one-sided feelings. Yet, as Sihoo starts to show signs of reciprocation, Jaehyuk dares to hope. Summoning his courage, he confesses his love.

But Sihoo’s response shatters him.

“I’m sorry. You’re just not my type, Jaehyuk. I must have given you the wrong idea.”

The rejection marks the beginning of a rift between them. Before Jaehyuk can process it, Sihoo leaves to study abroad, and their paths seem to have diverged for good.

Six years later, in an unexpected encounter, the two cross paths again—this time, in circumstances neither of them could have foreseen.
