I Loved a Serial Killer

A single note arrives for Shannon, who has lived her entire life as an orphan.

Their eyes met as Killian, who had been burying his face against her chest, suddenly looked up.

“W-What do you mean, thinking…”

Shannon turned her head hastily, unable to hide her flustered expression.

“Shall I guess?”

Killian, as calm and composed as always, chuckled as if amused by Shannon’s flustered state. Then, as if tossing out another of his usual silly jokes, he casually asked.

“I wonder what would happen if I shot that pretty head of yours…”

Shannon froze, unable to breathe, let alone respond. Killian smiled deeply, then leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. Then with their breaths still mingling, he whispered teasingly once more.

“Hmm? Darling, you need to answer me.”
