TTS Vol 1 Ch 2.4
by lily plumA moan, close to a scream, escaped from Taeri’s lips. She was thrown, literally thrown, onto the bed. Just like the backpack Park Chigyeong had snatched from her and tossed aside, Taeri too was thrown onto the bed.
With her eyes wide oepn, Taeri tried to process what exactly was happening right now. Strangely, her mind, usually so sharp, had completely stopped functioning.
“S-Sir, w-what are you, what are you doing?”
Taeri asked, her breath coming out in intermittent bursts. Park Chigyeong was pressing down on her from behind, his grip on her neck so tight, preventing her from moving her head, so Taeri’s eyes only quivered beneath him.
“You said you wanted to know more about me. Well, I usually like it from behind, like a dog. Do you dislike that, student?”
“W-wait a moment, this is, this is strange.”
“Then what do you prefer? Missionary?”
Terror gripped her. A stranger she only knew by name, age, and occupation. A man who carried an aura of intimidation and ferocity like a weapon. When such a man exert dominance over her, it sparked an immediate sense of helplessness. She felt like she could be killed right here, right now, and it wouldn’t be at all strange.
“I-I don’t like this. Sir, I-I don’t like this.”
“I told you earlier, I like it rough during sex. I like making my partner feel powerless. I even said you could leave if you didn’t like it. You didn’t go, which meant it was okay, wasn’t it?”
The man’s voice, oddly calm, sent chills down her spine as it dispersed from behind her.
“You stayed, knowing full well what was going to happen.”
Clack.
The sharp sound of a belt unbuckling echoed from behind, and Taeri shook her head with the slightest movement she could muster.
“This, this kind of thing isn’t right. This isn’t how it’s supposed to be.”
“What, then? Did you expect me to be gentle and suck you off? You can do that with your boyfriend someday.”
“I, I… It’s my first time, Sir…”
Taeri’s voice, choked with tears, seemed to make Park Chigyeong hesitate for a moment. But then, he grabbed her hips, lifting her further up, and asked coldly,
“So?”
He moved his free hand, the one not gripping her neck, to unzip the jeans she was wearing. Before Taeri could react, she felt them being pulled down swiftly. A wave of cold air brushed against her now bare thighs as her jeans were removed.
“Ah, w-wait, wait, no, I don’t like this, I don’t like this.”
The panic she felt at the restaurant paled in comparison to what she was experiencing now. Taeri’s face gradually turned pale, as if she were someone whose life hung by a thread.
And how could it not be? This Park Chigyeong was nothing like the man who had kissed her earlier. The Park Chigyeong now, the one before her, was terrifying, as if telling her that the gentle kiss he’d given her was all just a dream.
He hooked his finger on the edge of her panties and tugged them down. Shame washed over her as she imagined the wrinkled opening clearly exposed before him. It was broad daylight, and this was a part of her that had never been seen by anyone before.
N-no, no, I hate this.
Managing to turn her head back with difficulty, Taeri looked up at him, her eyes filled with fear.
He held his thick, almost vulgarly large pen1s, its veins pulsing angrily, as he tried to force his way into her. Without any preparation, the dark red tip mercilessly attempted to penetrate her tender flesh, splitting her open.
Even though he hadn’t entered her fully, merely pressing against the entrance, it felt as if her flesh was being ripped apart.
Tsk. So tight.
His expressionless face as he clicked his tongue made her feel like a piece of meat displayed at a butcher shop. Truly miserable.
Taeri, her face drained of all color, finally cried out, “No!” and burst into tears. She struggled with all her might, a desperate attempt to break free from his grasp.
“No, no! Sir, I don’t like this! I’m scared! Please stop!”
Every time she blinked, tears streamed down her face, leaving streaks on the pristine white bedsheets. Even with her lack of experience, she knew that this was not how it was supposed to be.
No, this isn’t right. This is… wrong. This is…
This was rape.
As the realization dawned on her, Taeri let out a small gasp, her expression shifting as she understood the man’s intentions.
The man was making it perfectly clear. He was teaching her a lesson.
Don’t you dare defy me, you’re not even worthy of being my opponent.
That affectionate, gentle kiss from before—it was all a lie. Falling for that sweet bait now felt utterly pathetic.
Tears welled up, blurring her vision. Her eyes stung as it turned red.
“Huu, hic, huuu…”
Taeri’s sobs, fueled by her sorrow, grew louder and louder, resembling a crescendo. Her crying filled the room as if they were in a cave, echoing all around.
Only then did she feel the pressure on her neck from Park Chigyeong’s hand slowly ease. With her neck freed, Taeri buried her face completely into the pillow and began to sob even harder, her tears flowing more freely.
“I told you.”
From behind her, the sharp sound of a buckle fastening could be heard again, and the man’s indifferent voice painfully echoed in her ears.
“I told you, if you’re going to defy someone, make sure you pick your battles.”
“Hic…hick.”
“If you don’t want to be taken this way, it would be wise to settle with me now.”
In the end, it was about a settlement. From start to finish, the man’s goal was solely about settling this.
She felt him getting up, the mattress rippling like waves as he moved.
“I won’t repeat myself twice. Write down your account number.”
A notepad with the hotel’s name and a pen were tossed onto the pillow beside Taeri, away from where she had buried her face. She slowly lifted her head, her youthful face smeared with tears and snot, and glared at him with her wet eyes.
“You…trash…”
“I’m glad you’re finally getting to know me.”
“An absolute piece of trash…”
“Right, that’s exactly what I am.”
Park Chigyeong, taking her hateful gaze head-on, straightened the collar of his shirt and adjusted his tie. He didn’t forget to put on a smooth, practiced smile, looking as if he had once again donned a suit of armor made of insincerity.
“I think I’ve indulged you enough, so let’s just settle this, shall we? Unlike you, a college student with free time, I have work to do.”
Park Chigyeong, grabbing up his briefcase and suit jacket, strode towards Taeri, who was still lying face down on the bed.
“Stop being stubborn and take the money, Kang Taeri. For something that wasn’t even distribution but just an edited photo, this is a pretty generous offer from our side.”
He sat down on the edge of the bed, and Taeri, still reeling from the shock, glared at his handsome face as she breathed raggedly. For some reason, Park Chigyeong kept running his tongue over his lips as he met Taeri’s gaze as if savoring a taste.
Then, slowly, he shook his head, as if trying to hold onto his composure.
“This is the first time I’ve ever had to beg someone to take money, and I must say, it’s quite disconcerting.”
“I said I didn’t want it. I don’t want your money. Why do you keep offering it when I already said no?”
“I need to take care of this cleanly to avoid any future trouble. So just take it.”
Because….
He trailed off, placing one hand on the mattress. Slowly lowering his upper body, he brought his lips close to her ear, as if about to graze it. He looked down at Taeri, whose body instinctively flinched away, and murmured in a low voice.
“Because I don’t think I can restrain myself much longer. At the restaurant earlier, I was already pissed off, and now that we’re in the hotel, I’m about to lose it.”
“…”
“If you don’t settle with me now, I can’t say what I’ll do here. Even if you cry and say no like before, it won’t matter. Right now, all I can think about is putting myself between your legs and thrusting into you. You’re not even a minor, so it wouldn’t be so bad if I took your virginity. Wouldn’t it be better for you to be taken by someone like me? Not by some inexperienced kid. Putting all those thoughts aside, I’m trying hard to hold back here, because I’m a prosecutor after all. Don’t you think?”
“…”
“So, Kang Taeri. Please. Settle this. Before I ruin your life.”
The memory of his earlier words, where he warned her to find out what kind of person he was, resurfaced in her mind.
He was a terrifying man. Park Chigyeong was truly terrifying. She finally understood why Park Sihyun trembled in front of his older brother and why he’d knelt before him.
His handsome features suddenly seemed frightening, and Taeri finally reached out and grabbed the pen, her hand trembling noticeably.
Biting her lower lip, Taeri forced her hand to be steady, pressing the pen tip firmly onto the paper as she wrote down her account number on the notepad.
A surge of injustice swelled within her like a tidal wave. Instead of handing over the note with her account number written on it, Taeri threw it in Park Chigyeong’s face.
“Okay! I surrender! You win, old man! Happy now?”
Of course, Taeri’s attempt couldn’t land even a scratch on the man’s face. It was as though he had anticipated her every move, effortlessly catching the notepad she had thrown at him.
“I hold no ill feelings toward you, student.”
As he fully stood up from the bed, the mattress shook once more.
“This was just a family matter, so I’d appreciate it if you’d be understanding.”
His eyes scanned the bank account number written on the notepad as he took out his phone. He was sending a text message, probably to the assistant he had spoken to at the restaurant.
“The money will be deposited in your account within the hour. This settlement signifies our mutual agreement to not escalate this issue any further, correct?”
He sat back down by the bed and, out of the blue, reached out to tuck Taeri’s hair behind her ear, a gentle smile gracing his lips. He looked at her, flinching at his touch, with a strange expression, and continued,
“So let’s not blow things out of proportion. Don’t be reckless and pick fights you can’t win. If you’re really that eager to stand up to me, get out into the world, gain some experience, and come back when you’re older, kid. You’re not my match yet.”
“…Assh0le.”
Even at Taeri’s curse, she was only met with his soft chuckle and his mutter of something incomprehensible.
“When we meet again, come back as a tiger.”
I’ll be waiting.
Taeri, having missed his last whisper, buried her tear-stained face back into the pillow. He rose and strode away, his steps calm and unhurried.
Thud.
The door closed. The price of her reckless curiosity about this man was nothing short of cruel.
After that day, Taeri never saw Park Chigyeong again. Their brief encounter ended there.
And so, one season passed, then another, and then another…
Time rolled on, like a broken wheel, haphazard and chaotic.
Two more years went by.
