    You Ran Away Again?

She took out his manhood from his pants, gently wrapped her hand around it, and slowly moved back and forth.

Ihan closed his eyes and thought of Moon Soo-ah. The dizzying sensation when those large eyes looked at him. The way his body reacted every time her small, translucent lips parted.

Unable to hold back any longer, he pushed Yoon-ha onto the bed and pressed his body against hers.

“Ihan. Today is my ovulation day. I really want to have a baby that looks like you.”

    Soo-ah. Moon Soo-ah.

An uncontrollable desire exploded. Ihan buried his face in her breasts and shoved his manhood inside her without restraint.

    “Haang.”

Yoon-ha’s coquettish moans rang in his ears as he moved his hips back and forth, thrusting into her.

Moon Soo-ah, I will be your first man, and your last.

He repeated the thought, driving his body upward relentlessly. Through the rising climax, he recalled the first time he met Moon Soo-ah.

A girl was standing behind Choi Bo-kyung. That doll-like, beautiful girl spoke.

    — “I’m Moon Soo-ah.”

At that moment, all he could see was Moon Soo-ah—nothing else around him mattered. Moon Soo-ah. Moon Soo-ah. Her name echoed in his ears.

Even though he had slept with countless women and wasn’t seeing just one woman, Ihan couldn’t take his eyes off Soo-ah.

He wanted her. He wanted to see her every day and keep her by his side for the rest of his life. That was why he accepted Kim Bo-kyung.

He had originally wanted to get rid of that vulgar, crude woman. But bringing her into his father’s life was a sacrifice he made for his love for Moon Soo-ah.

Kim Bo-kyung knew this, which only made her cling to him more. Moon Soo-ah was also keeping her distance from him—but perhaps that, too, was just a strategy.

Was she afraid that if she gave her heart away completely, he would grow bored of her? Was she pretending to be indifferent, luring him in even more?

It didn’t matter either way. In the end, Moon Soo-ah would be his.

    “Ha… haang. Ihan, you’re too fast… ha… ha.”

As Yoon-ha’s moans grew louder, her face came into view. This woman was Jang Yoon-ha. Not Moon Soo-ah. His manhood faltered, unable to release. Ihan forced himself to believe— This is Moon Soo-ah. Jang Yoon-ha is Moon Soo-ah.

His lower abdomen grew heavy, his size swelling, reaching the brink of release. But he didn’t want to have a child with Jang Yoon-ha. Ihan hurriedly tried to pull out, but Yoon-ha stopped him.

    “Haa…!”

As he climaxed inside her, Ihan grimaced, and Yoon-ha wrapped her arms around his neck.

    “I love you, Ihan.”

Ihan closed his eyes and thought of Moon Soo-ah.

    “I love you too.”

The words came out effortlessly as he held Jang Yoon-ha in his arms. Because, at this moment, the woman in his embrace wasn’t Jang Yoon-ha. It was Moon Soo-ah.

    ***

Late in the evening, Soo-ah was planning her escape once again.

She couldn’t afford to stay here idly forever. Even if she failed multiple times, she had to keep trying—eventually, she would succeed at least once. Even if she were caught and forced into a relationship with Seo Mun-hwon, she was no longer afraid.

Spending the rest of her life with Min Ihan, not knowing when he might appear, was far more terrifying. After finishing her meal, Soo-ah said she wanted to go for a walk.

One of the staff members contacted Seo Mun-hwon to get his permission. Once she was told she could go, she put on her sneakers and stepped out the front door.

Two men were standing outside, and they immediately started following her. She had expected this.

Acting as if she didn’t care, Soo-ah headed toward Hangang Park. The park wasn’t far from Seo Mun-hwon’s house. Because of an event featuring a famous singer nearby, the area was crowded with people.

Soo-ah took off her light-colored jacket and stuffed it into her bag, then pulled a black cap low over her face. After dressing entirely in black from head to toe, she blended into the crowd. As more and more people gathered, she let herself be swept along by the tide.

She walked without knowing exactly where she was going, occasionally glancing around. She spotted the two men who had been tailing her—they were now some distance away.

They seemed flustered, looking around anxiously, unable to find her. Soo-ah seized the opportunity.  Walking briskly at first, she soon broke into a run once she was sure they could no longer see her.

Her plan was to exit the park toward the east and take public transportation.

She sprinted through Hangang Park, but then—

Someone suddenly blocked her path. She tried to push past, but the man was massive, standing firm like a boulder. Because of his size, it was Soo-ah who ended up bouncing backward, nearly falling.

A bad feeling crept over her. Could it be…? She swallowed dryly and slowly lifted her head. Right in front of her, Jang Ji-cheol was looking down at her.

    “You’ve come too far.”

His tone was polite, yet firm.

    “Huff… huff…”

Soo-ah, shocked, collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath. She had no strength left to keep running.

    “It’s time to go back.”

Struggling to steady her breathing, Soo-ah glared up at him in frustration.

“I was just out jogging. Just exercising, that’s all.”

“I’ve already reported to CEO Seo Mun-hwon.”

“I wasn’t running away! I swear! This is a misunderstanding!”

“If that’s the case, you can explain it to him yourself.”

She had been caught again—he had won. No matter how much she protested, Seo Mun-hwon wouldn’t believe her. As defeat and humiliation washed over her, the men who had been chasing her approached.

    “We’ll escort her.”

When the two men reached out to lift her, Soo-ah shook them off.

“I can stand up on my own. I don’t need help.”

Her legs trembled, her breath was still ragged, and her heart pounded painfully in her chest, but she forced herself upright.

“We’ve prepared a car for a comfortable ride back.”

That meant they had known her movements from the start. Soo-ah was shocked but didn’t let it show on her face.

    “Let’s go.”

Jang Ji-cheol led the way to the parking lot and seated Soo-ah in the back of a car. So, she was going back. With a stiff expression, she stared out the window, but then— The car wasn’t heading toward Seo Mun-hwon’s house. It was going in the opposite direction.

    “Where are we going?”

Soo-ah asked, but Jang Ji-cheol didn’t answer. After about ten minutes, the car drove down toward the river and stopped in a desolate area. Men in suits lined up outside the vehicle.

It was still near the Han River, but there wasn’t a single other person in sight. Even in the heart of Seoul, this place was eerily empty. On top of that, these men were gangsters—killing a person was nothing to them.

Fear gripped Soo-ah. She curled in on herself, trembling.

    “Where are we?”

She forced herself to raise her voice, demanding an answer. Only then did Jang Ji-cheol finally speak.

“CEO Seo will be arriving shortly.”

That was not the answer she wanted. She needed to know why she had been brought here.

    “So then, why—?”

Just as she was about to ask again, another car pulled into the lot. The men bowed toward it in unison— Seo Mun-hwon must be inside.

    “Please wait a moment.”

Jang Ji-cheol stepped out of the car and walked toward the newly arrived vehicle. The backseat window rolled down, and he bowed before speaking to the person inside. After a brief conversation, he nodded and then called out loudly to the men.

    “Stand guard until further instructions.”

Immediately, the men scattered to form a wide perimeter around the cars, keeping their backs turned to the center as they scanned the area. Soo-ah had no idea what was happening, but unease settled heavily in her stomach. Fidgeting with her fingers, she kept watching the scene outside. Then, Jang Ji-cheol opened the door.

“CEO Seo is waiting for you.”

Soo-ah got out and followed him toward the other car. Jang Ji-cheol held open the backseat door, and as soon as she climbed in, he shut it firmly behind her. He then stepped away, taking position with the other men, all standing with their backs turned.

    “Miss Soo-ah.”

Hearing her name, she turned her head. Inside the car, there was no driver—only Seo Mun-hwon. With the doors shut, the car was filled with his scent. It was a mix of crisp soap, as if from freshly washed skin, and a faint trace of cigarette smoke.

Like the cold air of a snowy winter night—yet also like the dry heat of a scorching summer afternoon. It was a scent that unsettled her. One she wanted to reject.

“So, you ran away again today?”

His voice, resonating in the confined space, sounded even lower than usual.
