    About the Story

College student Naeun is sent to the countryside to take care of her grandmother with dementia. There, she meets a mysterious man named Seungjun.
Though he seems indifferent and lonely, Naeun finds herself drawn to him—and they fall in love.

“If only I had been a slightly better person. Or at least just… an ordinary one.”

But one day, Seungjun disappears without a word—marking the end of their summer.

Five years later, Naeun runs into him again in an unexpected place.
She also learns the shocking truth: Seungjun is the second son of First Group, one of Korea’s top conglomerates.

“Is it the hobby of the rich to hold a desperate person’s future in their hands and wield it like gods?”

As deeply as she once loved him, she now feels betrayed.

“Let’s just remain as two people who briefly crossed paths. We were a relationship meant to end in summer, not one that would last into winter.”

Not wanting to get hurt again, Naeun pushes him away.

    “The break is over.”

Now reunited in winter—the complete opposite of the season when they first fell in love—what will become of their fate?

The countryside and summer—the moment we faced each other.
Seoul and winter—the moment we had to turn away.
