Into The Thrill

Violinist Haewon has an indifferent personality, neither holding onto people who leave nor turning away those who come. One day, his only friend, Taeshin, commits suicide. Despite his general detachment from relationships, Haewon is left with a lingering guilt, as he missed multiple calls from Taeshin shortly before his death. Inevitably, Haewon crosses paths with Woojin, the man Taeshin once had a crush on, and dismissively brushes off the business card Woojin hands him.

Later, Haewon is forced into an unwanted relationship and becomes entangled in an assault case, where Woojin, a prosecutor, steps in to assist, thanks to that very card. Although Haewon tries to distance himself, feeling an uncomfortable guilt, Woojin remains unfazed.

Characters

Moon Haewon (Soo/28)
Gifted in violin but gave up studying abroad after his mother died of cancer. He dislikes playing in front of others. Often mistaken for a celebrity due to his striking looks, he speaks his mind without regard for others’ opinions. Proud and averse to losing, he’s unfazed by people leaving or entering his life, finding serious relationships burdensome.

Hyun Woojin (Gong/34)
Chief Prosecutor in the Special Investigations Division. He lives modestly, placing little value on material things, and believes the world is full of lesser and greater evils. Driven by a desire to control and dominate others, he’s willing to employ any means to achieve his ends. His interest in Haewon began after a chance encounter where he saw him play the violin, unaware Haewon was Taeshin’s friend.
