Chaegwi (債鬼): A term metaphorically referring to a relentless creditor who tenaciously demands interest and aggressively presses for debt repayment.

To repay the debt left by their mother, Woo Minjo’s entire life is held as collateral, leading them to become a “carman” at the “Amber Coffee Shop” in Mugwang City. Living a grueling life, washing with cold water, eating and sleeping in a storage room, paying off unknown interest, and dealing with the tantrums of Madam Kim Jung-sook—Minjo feels it would be easier to enlist in the military twice.

One day, Minjo, covering for Hyun Yang who’s slacking off, puts on red shoes and heads out to deliver coffee to the office of “Gimoon Construction.” This is the stronghold of gangsters who hold sway over all of Mugwang City, a terrifying place where they won’t even open the door unless you stick your ankle through the doggy door. There, Minjo comes face-to-face with the rumored Moby Dick, the president of Gimoon, Choo Gioh.
