I totally picked up a weird dude.

As Si-hyeon was heading home, cutting through an alley, she spotted a human shape on top of some illegally dumped trash. Worried, she went closer and saw a soaking wet guy with “incredible looks.” Somehow, she ended up giving him a corner of her room, and then, her heart.

The guy seeped into her life like the muggy humidity of a summer day. He was annoying at first, but then she got used to him, and eventually, she even grew fond of him.

Then one day, he just vanished.

And they met again, in a totally unexpected relationship.

“Si-hyeon.”

At the gentle voice calling her name, Si-hyeon slowly, so slowly, lifted her head, heavy with worry. The incredibly handsome guy, who could pretty much blow everyone else away, was smiling like nothing had ever happened.

He’d disappeared without a trace and then reappeared, but he wasn’t the guy who’d been freeloading at her place anymore. He was her boss, the one she, as his secretary, had to serve.

“How about it?”

Watching his shameless reaction, Si-hyeon thought, I won’t fall for that twice.
