Black Abyss
Four months ago, Seo Haejoo lost his parents in an accident.
The government, deeming supernatural beings a threat to humanity, confines them in isolation centers. Min Yeo-jin, a former special forces soldier and now a doctor at the Seoul Temporary Isolation Center, has been caring for Haejoo like a younger brother, knowing he will spend his life under government surveillance.
But on the day Haejoo reaches adulthood, soldiers arrive to transfer him to Iryeong-do Isolation Center. When Haejoo witnesses them using violence against Yeo-jin, he summons a flock of crows to retaliate—then flees the center.
To make matters worse, Yeo-jin, who chooses to stand by Haejoo, is now branded a dangerous individual and becomes a fugitive.
The government and the rebels alike see Seo Haejoo as a threat. But Yeo-jin, unwavering in his devotion, fights desperately to protect the boy who follows him so blindly.
“Haejoo, don’t cry. Don’t be afraid. I’m here. I’ll protect you.”
