“The place where the captain stands is the truth for me. I don’t care even if you betray France.”
In 1824, after the fall of Napoleon and the restoration of the Bourbon monarchy in France, Claude knows a secret about the new battalion commander, Yves, who has just been appointed—Yves is only interested in men. Teasingly, Yves appoints Claude as his personal adjutant. Initially bickering, the two grow closer as they chase a series of incidents together, and Claude finds himself increasingly gazing at his superior with passionate eyes.
