As Karas walked down the hallway, his footsteps quickened as he approached the door in the distance. He was thinking about only one thing at that moment. Abel, lying on a soft bed. It had only been half a day since he last saw him, yet it felt like years had passed, leaving him parched with desire.

Even just the sight of the door where Abel was made his arousal surge. He was filled with the thought of climbing on top of Abel and spreading his legs as soon as he entered. He imagined running his hands over his soft skin and positioning his c0ck at Abel’s wrinkled entrance.

Then, despite being embarrassed, Abel, who is very sensitive to touch, would turn bright red and mumble for him to stop.

    Lick.

Karas licked his lips as he roughly opened the door. He didn’t care who was inside, he was thinking only of pouncing on Abel.

If there were other eyes watching, Abel would be even more embarrassed, which would be even better. There was nothing to stop him in his way.

As long as Abel was there…

    Pause.

Karas, who seemed unstoppable, suddenly halted his steps and narrowed his eyes as he looked at the scene inside and at Abel. At the same time, Abel quickly turned his head and sobbed.

“Your Highness! This is a disaster! I can’t possibly say these lines, they’re just too cringe!”

In front of Abel lay numerous scripts that the butler had placed. The problem was that they contained Karas’ lines as well.

Karas, as usual, was expressionless, but everyone couldn’t help but notice that he wasn’t in a good mood. He exuded a cold atmosphere that no one could approach. Everyone could only speculate on one thing. He didn’t get to do it properly last night either.

The emperor, whose grand plan was to spend time with Abel in a soft bed after coming out of the forest, was shattered by Abel’s exhaustion from his excessive acting practice. Meanwhile, Abel became the perfect example of how mental fatigue could easily exhaust a person.

However, anyone who saw Abel’s script could fully understand and sympathize. Just reading a few lines could make one’s skin crawl. Even Kin, known as the most strong-hearted among the commanders, couldn’t read through an entire page aloud. But no matter how difficult it was, this was something Abel had promised to do.

He had even resolved to pretend to be their child in front of the butler’s Master and Mistress. He felt it was the least he could do to show gratitude for borrowing this body. When he explained this to Karas, mentioning that without this body, he wouldn’t exist as he does now, Karas could only respond with a grim expression and remained silent.

As a result, he was in a foul mood. For four days now, he hadn’t been able to enter Abel. This frustration led him to decide to get the task over with quickly. Thus, the journey began abruptly, spurred by Karas’ irritated decision. Officially, it was supposed to be a trip to visit the festival, but the true purpose was to relieve Abel’s burden and finally have s3x.

Of course, no one knew this except Karas. Everyone else simply believed that the considerate Karas was visiting the young master’s family home for Abel’s sake for the first time.

    But who would have known?

This was the most challenging part of the entire journey.

‘Do you understand? Our Mistress is very weak. She faints even from a slight shock, and in severe cases, she can be bedridden for months. Under no circumstances should she realize that our young master is the reincarnation of Lord Abel or that the things the young master did during the previous trip were lies. Got it? Yes?’

The butler handed over the young master’s travelogue he had written with a fierce warning. He instructed everyone to thoroughly read it in advance and familiarize themselves with its contents. They all read the travelogue, bringing out all the patience they had gathered throughout their lives. However, when they reached the part where all four commanders were rejected by the young master but still became his slaves, they almost drew their swords in unison.

What made them even angrier was that they only read this horrific content upon reaching their destination. They all sharpened their swords for revenge against the butler, but there was nothing they could do at the moment, as the frail Mistress had just arrived.

    “Ah! My child! Liliaaretrenchloride!”

Just the name alone was enough to make someone exhausted. The Mistress, who indeed seemed fragile and petite, staggered with tears as soon as she saw Abel.

    “Oh! Madam, please calm down!”

The Master of the house, familiar with the situation, supported her while also looking at Abel with tearful eyes.

“Welcome home, Liliaaretrenchloride! I read all about your brilliant performance in saving the country in the butler’s letter. Sniff, you… you’ve grown up so wonderfully, Liliaaretrenchloride!”

    “……”

“Hmm? Why aren’t you saying anything, Liliaaretrenchloride? Are you feeling unwell, Liliaaretrenchloride? Is that it? Liliaaretrenchloride?”

At the Master’s shout, the Mistress’ face turned pale.

“Ah! My, my child, Liliaaretrenchloride! Are you ill, Liliaaretrenchloride?”

Everyone except the butler and Karas had severe headaches. The butler, familiar with this scene, merely looked pleased, while Karas, sitting nonchalantly on someone else’s windowsill, paid no attention to the situation.

Abel, once again amazed at how remarkable that name was, hid his embarrassment and tried to speak. He bowed his head out of habit and started to greet them.

    “Ah, I hope you’ve been well… Ugh.”

Just as Abel was about to greet them, the butler poked him in the side with his finger.

    ‘That’s not our young master!’

With a warning in his eyes, Abel awkwardly spat out his lines.

“Wh, whether I’m sick or not, that’s, that’s none of your business! You, you old geezers.”

What insolent words to say to one’s parents. Filled with guilt, Abel couldn’t bring himself to make eye contact, but then the Master’s voice came through.

“That arrogant tone, it truly is my son!”

The father was moved. His eyes sparkled as he looked at Abel expectantly, hoping for more. Abel reluctantly recited another line he had prepared.

“I-I’m… I’m not the son of someone ugly like you. I… I’m a shimmering rainbow… fairy born from the dew between flower petals.”

    Ugh.

Roster, with his weak stomach, nearly vomited glitter. However, the master was completely captivated. He was so impressed with his son’s linguistic abilities that he gave him a thumbs up.

“That’s right! You are a prince from the fairy land who came down to shine a brilliant rainbow light upon the world!”

Karas, who was the real prince, glanced over as if to say, ‘What the hell is this?’

However, realizing it wasn’t over yet, he turned his annoyed gaze back out the window. For a moment, the room was filled with a discussion about the brilliant colors of light Abel was emitting and the dazzling atmosphere from the invisible wings on his back.

Of course, only the butler and his parents were excited. From that day forth, everyone realized clearly that parents can ruin their children. Kin and Clara, especially, watched Abel with concern despite their own nausea. To think that he had to say and listen to such things while he was sober.

No, he wasn’t sober. Abel’s soul had long departed. His eyes had become vacant, and he merely recited his lines automatically whenever the butler poked him. Then his mother noticed something and asked in an innocent voice.

“Oh my―who is that young man? He seems so troubled and hasn’t been able to properly appreciate the brilliant light of our son since earlier.”

Everyone instantly tensed and looked at the troubled young man. Karas, who slowly turned his head, had no expression on his face, but the irritation in his eyes overshadowed any brilliant light. A dark sense of anxiety spread through everyone’s hearts.

Would he ruin all the hardships they’ve endured alone?

Perhaps their desperation reached him, as Karas closed the situation with an appropriate response.

“Me? I’m the one who’s been screwing your son.”

    “Abel, are you alright—”

Melmond cautiously opened the door and entered, but he couldn’t finish his question. Abel, who was sitting blankly on the bed, looked anything but alright. Well, it would be more strange if he were in his right mind after all that. Still, it was fortunate that they decided to leave early the next morning. It was all thanks to Karas, in a way.

After Karas had bluntly informed that he was the one “screwing” Abel, the Mistress had fainted with a high-pitched ‘Eek!’ Her face had turned so red as she fell, leaving one to wonder what exactly she had imagined to cause such a reaction. The important thing was that due to her weakened heart, the master allowed everyone to leave early the next morning.

Thus, after experiencing a hellish half-day, they had already packed their bags and were prepared to stay awake through the night, ready to leave as soon as the sun rose. Melmond, too, was eager for morning to come, but something changed after Ashler’s visit a little while ago.

    “Abel, are you okay?”

Melmond shook Abel’s shoulder, causing him to turn his vacant eyes towards him.

    “Am I really a fairy?”

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, Melmond smacked Abel on the back of his head.

“Snap out of it! You’re not a fairy! You don’t have wings, and you don’t shine with dazzling rainbow colors!”

    Flinch.

The sharp truth hit Abel like a ray of light, bringing him back to reality as tears welled up in his eyes.

    “Mr. Melmond.”

“Yeah, yeah. Haa, we’ll be leaving this house, scarier than the King’s Heart, early tomorrow morning, so calm down for now.”

At the mention of leaving early in the morning, Abel hurriedly started packing.

“We need to pack our things.”

“Yeah, packing is important, but Abel, there’s something I need to tell you.”

    What is it?

As Abel blinked and turned around, Melmond hesitated before bringing up what he had heard from Ashler. It was something that hadn’t left his mind since the moment he heard it.

The power of another evil dragon, sealed away?

    ⊹˚. ♡.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ⊹˚. ♡.𖥔 ݁ ˖

‘The sealed power is fading, but as the ice melts, it seems that some of the evil power has leaked out. The fog is said to be devouring people.”

Melmond, who relayed this story, looked terrified. Abel thought he knew what Melmond was recalling. It might start with fog, but there could be a greater force hidden within it. The mass of fire that was concealed in the foggy forest.

Although the wizard said that the evil power would disappear once all the ice melted, what if it came out before then?

He couldn’t help but remember the scene where everything burned down and disappeared in the fire. Those who had experienced it would surely be as frightened and worried as Melmond if they heard about this. Except for one person—the one who couldn’t care less if the world ended or not.

    Clack.

The sound of footsteps caught Abel’s attention, and as he turned his head, the person he had just been thinking about appeared, almost as if by magic. Perhaps it was because the full moon shone brightly that night, making it easy to recognize the other person’s face, but somehow, he had felt it was him even before he had turned his head. Despite the exhausting day, he couldn’t sleep.

The beautiful garden, filled with all sorts of flowers and ornamental trees, even had a marble fountain in the middle, making it very lavish. It was so exquisite that one had to be careful when entering, but at least this place reminded him of the forest. The Dragon Forest, which gradually turning greener, might look astonishingly different when they return after their trip.

This expectation alone lifted his spirits. And now, seeing Karas before him, it was clear that he had come with the same thought—to find comfort here on a sleepless night.
