MTFBMP Chapter 21
by NikiniksThese undergarments were made from the skin of a beast that could shrink and stretch itself at will.
Snake scales made it waterproof and impervious to salt water.
At first glance, it looked like an ordinary material, like a very thin silk, but its true value was revealed when I wore it.
I decided to start with Adelaine’s wing, which looked the worst for wounds.
“Make sure you let me know if it hurts.”
After aligning the wing in the right placement, I propped up a wooden stick and wrapped the cloth over it. The fabric gradually shrank to fit the shape of the wings, then wrapped tightly around them.
‘These things are always interesting.’
She hadn’t expected to find such a use for the clothes she’d been lucky enough to acquire.
“An interesting way to treat it.”
“What do you think, does it support well?”
“I think it was wrapped around you. Not as much as if it were flesh to flesh, but it wasn’t a bad idea.”
I hadn’t thought of that. It left me speechless.
“You should never tear this up, you should keep it and return it to me.”
“Why? Is it precious?”
“Yes. It’s important to me.”
At least I managed to change the subject again with something else.
Before facing Adelaine again, I began to straighten my clothes. I figured that if I packed a vest, the curves of my body wouldn’t show as much as I’d feared. The cloak would cover the rest.
‘First, I need to sneak back to my room as quietly as possible, and then I’ll use the bandages Dion gave me.’
The wound would heal quickly if Adelaine’s words were to be taken at face value, and then I could get my garments back.
“Look, you can’t turn around until I say it’s okay…”
As I spoke, I looked up and made eye contact with Adelaine, who had turned around and was staring at me.
“Do— don’t look!”
I hadn’t even finished buttoning my shirt. I tried to turn away, covering myself with my arms.
“…Something’s different.”
Adelaine suddenly stretched out an arm.
“What?”
Completely caught off guard. I let out a panicked sound and reflexively jerked back.
With my hands covering my body, I scrambled to my feet and tried to flee. But I didn’t even get to try.
Adelaine wrapped his arms around my waist before I could dodge.
Thud—
Thanks to Adelaine, I didn’t feel any pain, but my body had already given way to him.
I stumbled forward and avoided breaking my nose, but I fell sideways with Adelaine’s arms wrapped around me, and I could see the brilliant golden wings beneath my body.
If I looked hard enough, I could see the hard, damp wooden floor of the dungeon through the wings.
It was torn and cracked in places from how badly Adelaine, the beast, had scratched it, and if I had lain on it, I would have gotten cut by at least one of the thorns or had my skin chafed.
Compared to Dion’s plush bed, it was an incredibly uncomfortable place to be.
Still, it felt strangely surreal.
The difference between my fall and Dion’s was…
I twisted to free myself from Adelaine’s arms and looked up.
‘He’s smiling.’
Adelaine looked down at me, smiling with the satisfaction of a predatory beast.
💫
Everything happened so suddenly that I froze for a moment.
Adelaine was holding me from behind, breathing regularly and slowly.
‘Good thing he had pants on.’
My first thought was a little ridiculous, but undeniably true. My panicked heart was beating fast again. I could hear it all the way to my ears.
At the same time, I forgot to breathe, and after holding it in for a while, I let out a very long breath. I could feel the air slowly leaving my lungs. My chest heaved downward in the same beat.
‘Ah, my chest…’
…So close that if Adelaine’s arms around my waist were to move up any further, they would touch.
In front of my unfamiliar chest, I clasped my hands together as if in prayer.
“I guess you didn’t show the humans upstairs everything.”
Looking down, I could see the curvature of my chest, though it wasn’t noticeable, it was definitely more pronounced than it would have been if I’d been wearing a garment underneath.
In my haste, I’d buttoned the buttons incorrectly. There was no way to close the gap.
As embarrassing as it was to judge my body, it was not small, to put it mildly.
“If you try to put your hands up there…, I won’t let you.”
My voice was quivering badly. Even if it was a completely useless threat, I’d yell it anyway.
It was the only way to defend myself.
“Hah.”
Adelaine chuckled lightly and buried his nose in the nape of my neck at the same time.
Like the first time we’d met, he was intent on inhaling my scent, only this time it was more blatant and insistent, as if he wanted to do now what he couldn’t do then.
“Hic!”
Sometimes, his lips brushed against the sensitive spot where the nape of my neck met my shoulder.
Fear gripped my heart, as if I were about to be bitten and scarred.
All of my attention was suddenly focused on that sensation. No matter how tightly I clutched the shirt at the nape of my neck, Adelaine slipped through the gap and buried his lips in my bare skin.
Sometimes he nibbled gently, then stopped and smeared his lips.
Then there was a strong sucking force. I flinched in surprise and looked back.
Adelaine was clearly laughing.
“What the…what the hell do you think you’re doing?”
The words slipped out of my mouth as heat rose to my head.
“I want to touch it.”
What the hell?
Adelaine had no intention of conversing with me, no matter what I thought. But why did he seem to be in such a good mood all the while?
“No. If you touch me, I won’t come back.”
Whatever it was, I had a bad feeling about it. No matter how I tried, I couldn’t make it any better.
“There are too many things you don’t like.”
“I still can’t.”
“You’re thinking about something very different. You’re not my master, and I don’t need to ask your permission. So why should I put up with it?”
With that, Adelaine tightened and loosened the arms around my waist, as if to invade my clothes at any moment, and I squirmed, my chest heaving.
I hadn’t even finished putting on my vest, let alone my cloak, so only a thin strip of fabric separated us.
Laying on my back, I hunched over and crossed my legs, and soon Adelaine, who was behind me, slipped one of his leg between mine.
No longer was I able to fumble around.
After much tossing and turning, my shirt, which I had haphazardly tucked into my pants, peeked out. I could feel the cold dampness of the underground against my exposed waist.
Between my pants and shirt. Just by slipping a hand through that tiny gap, Adelaine could reach my body.
“Please, let me go.”
“That’s not the answer I want.”
He continued to ask me for something unknown. He waited patiently as I trembled on my feet, unable to grasp his meaning.
‘He’s talking about it, but he’s not doing anything about it right now.’
That was the only hope I could hold on to.
Adelaine was in human form now, not beast, but he was still big enough to easily subdue anyone, even me.
Perhaps even taller than Dion or Jade. On top of that, he had muscles that were hard and shaped in a way that belied the hardships of being trapped in this place.
There was no way I was going to be able to take him on.
Besides, he had proven earlier that he could tear through any amount of cloth if he set his mind to it.
“Let me do it.”
The tremors in his body slowed to a crawl as he said the words.
“You won’t hurt me until I give you permission?”
“That’s a funny question. Are you saying you can give me permission for me not to harm you?”
It was an odd question, but somehow I felt bad for Adelaine when he pointed it out.
“Human, allow me to do what I can for you now.”
“…I don’t like doing this behind, I want to see you in front.”
It was better to face him, even if it meant being eaten, than to be flailing about, not knowing what he might do from behind.
Adelaine stepped back as if waiting, then flipped me over.
