MM Extra Ch 2 [END]
by AnonAnemoneAs soon as top actor Ryu SungJae entered the dark shop, he grit his teeth. The fearless man who had threatened him with the photograph was waiting for him here. A close friend of his managed this bar, and Ryu SungJae had already spoken to him about this, so the lights were off and it was quiet inside. He didn’t see any employees walking around either. Therefore, the only two people here were him and the blackmailer.
Ryu SungJae saw the terrace located past the folding doors. He could see the back of the blackmailer (definitely a petty criminal) standing there, and he clicked his tongue with annoyance. He had started acting as a child, and during the twenty-three years of his career, he’d seen all sorts of things. Therefore, nothing scared him anymore. He deliberately didn’t try to hide the sound of his footsteps and cleared his throat as he walked out onto the terrace.
“Aigo, sorry to keep you wait–…”
As he made an insincere apology, his voice faded away at the end of his sentence. With the early evening sky as the backdrop, the blackmailer turned around and grinned at him.
“Hello.”
Ryu SungJae pulled off his sunglasses. What the hell? Am I seeing things?
“Are you…”
“Nice to meet you. My name is Lee Kyuwol.”
The star who had raised the national prestige of Korea and turned the entire country upside-down with his achievements introduced himself with his own mouth. Lee Kyuwol, a man with whom Ryu SungJae would never cross paths, was now before his eyes. He couldn’t understand why.
“What brings you here?”
“We agreed to meet.”
Ryu SungJae wet his dry lips and tilted his head.
“Wait, so you’re saying… Athlete Lee Kyuwol is the one who sent me that photo?”
“Yes.”
Lee Kyuwol looked at him and gave him a clear, refreshing nod. Ryu SungJae let out a breath and searched for a cigarette. From what he could tell, Lee Kyuwol wasn’t lacking in anything for him to be blackmailing him like this. He couldn’t figure out what his motive could be. Click, as soon as he lit the cigarette in his mouth, it disappeared.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“Smoking is prohibited in this whole building. It isn’t good to hurt others.”
Lee Kyuwol pressed the cigarette onto the balcony railing and put it out as he shook his head. The skin of Ryu SungJae’s lips that had been touching the cigarette burned.
“Fuck, are you joking? No one’s here at this time of day, so what are you…”
“I’m here. In front of you.”
Ryu SungJae watched Lee Kyuwol as he slowly replied back and gulped. The reason why he felt that there was something different about him wasn’t just because he was of mixed race. His eyes. They were the problem. They didn’t look human.
Because an actor’s job was to speak with his eyes, Ryu SungJae was more perceptive of this than others. He wasn’t sure what was inside those empty eyes, and he felt a chill run down his spine.
“What are you doing? Have you fallen for me or something?”
The moment he realized that he had fallen into some kind of trance due to Lee Kyuwol’s aura, his face grew warm and he raised his voice to hide his bewilderment.
“…What is it that you want? Is it money?”
“Fuck, are you joking?”
Lee Kyuwol repeated the words that SungJae had said moments ago. The only difference was that instead of saying it in anger, Lee Kyuwol merely chuckled. His wide shoulders shook. As Ryu SungJae watched this, an ominous hunch popped into his head.
“I’m meeting you like this out of goodwill.”
Instead of asking him what the hell he was talking about, Ryu SungJae did his best to keep cool and opened his mouth.
“I’m not sure how you found those medical records, but something like that won’t be enough to shake up my career.”
“Do you think that I want to shake up your career, Ryu SungJae-ssi? Why?”
Lee Kyuwol genuinely looked curious as he asked. Ryu SungJae scowled and looked at him with a despicable expression on his face.
“Then why did you send me that photo?”
The illegal injections that he took were due to his chronic insomnia. There was nothing else he could do about it. As years passed by, the added pressure that came with time made it more and more difficult for him to sleep. Acting skills, looks, private life, and scandals. He was already going crazy from the amount of people that mentioned these things to him. Because he wasn’t sure what Lee Kyuwol’s motives were for doing this, Ryu SungJae was growing more restless.
“To give you advice.”
“What?”
“I don’t care if you go to a hospital room three times a day to sleep like a corpse, but if you’re going to do it, you shouldn’t get caught. For your reputation’s sake.”
Ryu SungJae’s face stiffened. Lee Kyuwol continued to look back at him with a faint smile on his face. Then he continued in a low voice.
“What do you think are the moral rules in your career, Ryu SungJae-ssi?”
SungJae acknowledged that it was definitely unpleasant to be alone with Lee Kyuwol. His intuition was pretty good. It was currently telling him that the nation’s hero that was standing in front of him was actually completely crazy. Whenever he looked into those deranged eyes, instead of feeling anger, he felt frightened.
“I’m sure values change from person to person, but I think that it’s most important to do one’s work properly.”
His medical records were withdrawn from a hospital so renowned for its security that only the people who knew about it attended it. The fact that it was accessed was quite a questionable feat.
“It doesn’t matter whether you suck off the women of chaebol families from behind or whether you dance naked on tables with them.”
Ryu SungJae’s face turned ashen. The reason why he couldn’t just ignore what Lee Kyuwol said was because the comment he just made was very specific. He tried to calm his quickening breaths and attempted to recall all the information he knew regarding Lee Kyuwol. He couldn’t think of any mutual acquaintances between them, so he began to think of any common denominators they may share.
“Are you a male prostitute? That must be your side job. Your main job is acting.”
Damn it. Why hadn’t he realized this sooner?
Lee Kyuwol was rumored to be dating the director of the movie that Ryu SungJae was currently starring in. Two years ago, after pushing it off for as long as he could, he had entered his military service. During this time, he had heard about the messy story regarding Lee Kyuwol and his mentee and how there was a stabbing. The victim was none other than Director Jung. He usually only focused on stories about himself, and this kind of thinking often made trouble for him. Just like now.
“Did… Director Jung happen to say anything to you?”
“Say what? That you barged into her hotel room with the excuse of talking about the movie with her?”
Lee Kyuwol’s eyes gleamed as he gazed at him. When he spit out another detailed fact, Ryu SungJae lost his chance to refute it.
“Nothing happened.”
Ryu SungJae raised his voice at the unfairness of this situation. He was no longer a young, twenty-year-old rookie actor. At his age, it would be humiliating to get swept away in a love affair.
“I’m serious. Nothing happened at all.”
“I’m sure it didn’t. That’s why you’re filming the movie with such a poor attitude. Because you, a top actor, stretched out your hand to a mere rookie director who only shot a few independent films and got rejected.”
Because there weren’t any streetlights or lighted signs, their surroundings were completely dark. Lee Kyuwol slowly approached him, and Ryu SungJae almost took a step back.
“You were planning on using your influence to get what you wanted, but you only ended up bruising your ego. Isn’t that right?”
A main street was only a block away, but there weren’t any cars that seemed to come through this narrow alleyway. When he had first discovered this, Ryu SungJae had been incredibly happy. But now, he was afraid of how quiet it was.
“I’m not sure what Director Jung told you, but you’ve definitely misunderstood…”
Lee Kyuwol grabbed his shirt and pushed him up against the terrace railing. With his feet now dangling in the air, Ryu SungJae’s eyes filled with terror.
“Wh…! What are you doing?!”
If he fell from a five-story building, he’d break his neck. As all the possibilities flashed through Ryu SungJae’s mind, Lee Kyuwol revealed his white teeth as he laughed.
“I absolutely hate boring things. So don’t say something so unentertaining again or else something really fun is going to happen. This isn’t a warning. I’m giving you notice.”
He was crazy. Ryu SungJae was absolutely certain that Lee Kyuwol was completely crazy. He pressed his trembling lips together and nodded his head. If he spoke up now, he didn’t think he’d be able to hold back the terrified scream that threatened to leave his mouth. After Lee Kyuwol let him go, he took down an iron chair that was stacked on top of the table and sat down with his legs crossed.
“Please sit. I’m sure your legs feel limp.”
Ryu SungJae silently did as he was told. The chair that Lee Kyuwol had handled so easily as if it were a toy felt damned heavy, so he almost dropped it as he took one down with both hands. He didn’t know what to say, so he merely glanced at Lee Kyuwol. Then Lee Kyuwol looked at him and spoke.
“You wanted to sleep with Dayoung, right?”
“……”
“Answer me honestly. I don’t think I’ll get mad if you do.”
Ryu SungJae thought about it for a moment before coming to a decision. He felt that if he tried to weasel his way out of this, it would only backfire on him.
“At first, I did… a little bit. But later, it became the exact opposite.”
“Why?”
When Ryu SungJae hesitated, Lee Kyuwol answered his own question, almost as if he could read SungJae’s mind.
“Because she was being too arrogant?”
Ryu SungJae barely managed to keep a more insulting description from leaving his mouth. Jung Dayoung had only shot a few independent films and just managed to break through into the industry, but she definitely had a knack for pushing people’s buttons. Lee Kyuwol burst into laughter and pulled out his phone.
“I know it’s nothing to brag about, but I can be pretty obsessive.”
Ryu SungJae gulped.
“But isn’t it extremely normal to want to know about your loved one’s every single move?”
For some reason… SungJae felt like something really bad was going to happen. Lee Kyuwol unlocked his phone and pressed on something. Suddenly, the voice that SungJae did not want to hear the most at this moment began to flow out of the speaker.
“Over here, SungJae-ssi.”
The sound of someone hocking a loogie was drowned out by the sound of crashing waves. It was soon followed by Ryu SungJae’s own voice.
“Why did you call me out all on my own?”
“I’ll get straight to the point.”
“Well, hurry up. I don’t have much time.”
As he listened to the conversation he had with the director ten days ago, Ryu SungJae frowned. With his eyes, he asked Lee Kyuwol if he had bugged his girlfriend with a recording device. Instead of answering the silent question, Lee Kyuwol merely smiled.
“My favorite part is coming up.”
“Why are you so shitty at acting?”
Ryu SungJae’s face reddened. This conversation took place ten days ago after the dinner with the production staff. The memories of that day began to fill his head.
“Hey. Did you call me out here to fight?”
“Stop acting cool. It’s not cool at all. It actually looks funny. And I definitely told you to shave your head.”
As he listened to the person who made his blood boil, Ryu SungJae felt something hot surge up from his chest. Lee Kyuwol merely crossed his arms and listened intently to his girlfriend’s voice.
“You’re the only one who stands out in the picture. It’s tacky.”
“Can a director undermine an actor’s morale like this? Aren’t you going to regret it?”
“It’s because you’re acting like a person who’s on a mission to ruin this movie, you bitch.”
Lee Kyuwol covered his mouth with his large hand and slowly blinked. From what Ryu SungJae could see, he couldn’t see any emotion behind his eyes. It was terrifying. As he heard his own voice spew out curses, Ryu SungJae repeatedly clenched and unclenched his fists underneath the table. This recording alone would be enough to shatter his career into a million pieces.
“Let’s talk tomorrow after you cool your head. You’re a pro, right, Ryu SungJae-ssi?”
Ryu SungJae recalled how he had stuck up his middle finger at her in response. He bit his lips. Should he be glad that this wasn’t a video recording? He felt terrible.
“And don’t talk down to me ever again, Ryu SungJae-ssi.”
At this point, Ryu SungJae wondered whether Director Jung had been the one to record this conversation in secret. However, this theory went out the window with Lee Kyuwol’s following question.
“Dayoung is smoking a cigarette right here, isn’t she?”
Huu. When they heard the sound of her expelling a breath, Lee Kyuwol asked Ryu SungJae. Wasn’t it obvious? SungJae looked at Lee Kyuwol with a bitter expression. Among anyone who worked on a film set, it was more difficult to find someone who didn’t smoke.
“…Yes.”
“She doesn’t smoke in front of me. Even though she doesn’t have to hide it.”
So what? Lee Kyuwol chuckled like an affectionate puppy. Ryu SungJae was sure of two things. Lee Kyuwol was crazy, and he himself had been caught up in his trap.
“The reason why I called you out here was to ask a favor of you.”
Although he called it a ‘favor’, this was definitely blackmail. With this in mind, Ryu SungJae obediently answered him.
“Please, speak.”
“As someone with a long list of films under your name, I’m sure there is a mountain of screenplays that are waiting for you. Even if this movie underperforms, it won’t put a dent on your name. However, this isn’t the case for Director Dayoung. It’s her first debut into the mainstream film industry, and she received a large investment for this movie. There are many eyes on her right now, and because of the horrible incident that happened two years ago, she’s gained fame she didn’t want.”
Lee Kyuwol’s voice was polite and courteous. Because of this, Ryu SungJae temporarily forgot that this was the same guy who had threatened to throw him off the balcony just a few minutes ago.
“You seem like a man who likes honesty, so if I were to say it frankly…”
Ryu SungJae did his best to settle his trembling nerves and barely managed to open his mouth. Lee Kyuwol nodded and urged him to continue.
“An actor is free to interpret a script in his own way. Even if Director Jung…-nim didn’t like it… my pride and life as an actor is on the line.”
He wondered if his remark would change anything. Lee Kyuwol nonchalantly turned to the worried Ryu SungJae. He seemed to have come to a conclusion.
“If you’ve worked freely as an actor until now, isn’t it okay for you to be thoroughly restricted this time?”
“…Pardon?”
Like a typical ignorant athlete, Lee Kyuwol spoke casually as if he were asking about a bowl of noodles on the menu. Ryu SungJae’s lips twitched as he kept them firmly closed. He clenched his fist underneath the table.
“Dayoung will make you come off very charming. No matter how unpleasant you are, no matter how messy your private life is, through her eyes, you will have purpose. That’s how you will take up a piece of the audience’s mind. Like a stamp.”
Even so, she was merely a director who had created a few independent films, and a handful of perverted critics had given her favorable reviews. Because his eyes were blinded by love, wasn’t Lee Kyuwol overestimating his girlfriend’s talents? Ryu SungJae held back the urge to ask this question and merely nodded his head.
“I’ll consider… your advice.”
“I’d be grateful if you would.”
Lee Kyuwol spoke those simple words without much feeling. Then he continued.
“And don’t try to act smart with Director Dayoung with your twisted behavior.”
As if he’d been pricked by a needle, his heart twinged. Ryu SungJae wanted to go back to a time before he had agreed to participate in a movie like this. He wanted to go back and rip up the contract. However, it was too late now. In such a short amount of time, Lee Kyuwol had already dug up so many of his weaknesses. This meant that Lee Kyuwol had proof of his private life in the palm of his hand. This wouldn’t end simply.
“I watched all of the interviews you did with Director Dayoung regarding this movie. There was something that struck me.”
Lee Kyuwol stood up from his seat and turned around as if he had just thought of something.
“You said you wanted to become an actor that stays in the memories of the audience forever. I know the most effective way you can achieve this.”
The moonlight illuminated his face. It looked as cold as a lone statue that stood in the middle of an empty museum.
“It is to die at the most beautiful, glittering and most popular point in your career.”
“…Aah.”
“Shall I help you with that?”
Ryu SungJae felt his lips run dry. He clenched his hand around the arms of his chair. If he screamed now, someone might call the police.
“I’m just joking.”
Lee Kyuwol grinned as he cracked the knuckle of one finger. Meanwhile, Ryu SungJae felt like his throat was tightening up. He didn’t move a muscle until Lee Kyuwol had exited the building. After chain smoking several more cigarettes, he finally took out his cellphone. His hand trembled as he called his manager.
— Hi, Hyung. Where are you right now?
“Buy some hair clippers.”
He already felt a chill on the back of his neck. If all the crazy bastard wanted was for him to follow the director’s orders to the letter, he’d have to do it. After being discharged from his military service, he had grown his hair to this luxurious length, but now he’d have to say farewell to his luscious locks. His manager ignorantly made a fuss.
— Whoa. You’re really going to shave your head? You probably won’t be unable to shoot commercials for the time being.
How was that a problem when he might die? Ryu SungJae held back from cursing and continued speaking.
“And get a new copy of the script. I’ll send you the address, so bring the car here. I’ll head to the film site right away.”
The fact that Director Jung was the girlfriend of such a crazy guy only meant one thing. Birds of a feather flock together. This wasn’t a saying that popped out of nowhere. If this was the case, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to accept the challenge and follow the instructions of her twisted mind. Either way, he didn’t have a choice.
* * *
As soon as Dayoung finished her shower and exited the bathroom, her phone rang. After putting on a pair of underwear and putting on a t-shirt, she answered the call. Rain trickled down the windows of the old hotel.
“Yes, hello?”
— Are you in the middle of filming right now?
A gust of wind zigzagged across the streets. Seeing this, Dayoung sighed.
“No. The weather became weird all of a sudden, so we stopped production for the day.”
— The universe is telling you to get some rest.
Kyuwol’s voice sounded so peaceful that it was as if he were in another world. Now that she heard his voice, she suddenly missed being home. In order to hide her emotion, she frowned.
“But I can’t keep busy people on hold just because of the poor weather.”
— Why? Did someone say something?
“No, it’s not like that…”
— Ryu SungJae?
Dayoung was still often surprised by his intuition. This was one of those times. Ryu SungJae was an important villain in her movie. He garnered popularity as he went back and forth between movies and dramas. He had good looks and an outstanding talent for acting, but his personality was on the nasty side. He kept ruining today’s somber scene, and when the bad weather came, he left in the middle of filming as if he’d been waiting for this opportunity and drove back to Seoul.
“That’s not it.”
— He must be acting out because you refused to sleep with him.
“What a ridiculous thing to say.”
— You’re a young and talented director who is also beautiful. I’m sure these things happen from time to time when you’re filming.
“It’s an honor that a star like him agreed to participate in a new director’s project in the first place.”
She did her best to keep her voice from trembling and let out a faint laugh. However, they had been together for far too long for him to just let it pass with a simple joke.
— Tell him that if he can’t act well, he should be careful when he’s out at night.
She could feel the thorns in Kyuwol’s laughing voice. She could imagine how he’d react if she told him how Ryu SungJae had asked her to come by his room for some drinks to talk about the movie.
“Alright. But where are you right now?”
— I’m home.
She felt like she heard the sound of waves coming from her cellphone. She looked out the window and gazed at the large waves crashing onto the shore, and she suddenly had a bad feeling.
“But the background noise sounds a bit off.”
She checked Kyuwol’s location with an app on her phone. He was definitely 200 kilometers away at their home.
— Let’s turn on the video.
Kyuwol’s laughed as he turned on the camera. The background looked familiar. It was the wide, ivory sofa where they often had sex. Kyuwol was wearing comfortable lounge clothes as he sat on it.
“But I definitely heard the sound of waves.”
— That’s because I’m watching the same sea you’re watching.
Kyuwol’s face disappeared from her screen, and it showed the large TV instead. It showed a beach that wasn’t far from where she was. She couldn’t hold back her curiosity and asked him a question.
“Is this fun for you…?”
— Yeah. When I think about how my girlfriend is somewhere over there, I feel at ease.
Still feeling a bit feverish from her hot shower, her face reddened once again. There were times when Kyuwol would fluster her. At times like these when he’d speak in a warm voice and laugh. Whenever he’d whisper sweet words like a normal lover.
— Turn on your camera. I want to see your face.
“I’m a bit of a mess right now.”
After getting out of the shower, she hadn’t properly dried her hair. Kyuwol’s lips gently arched into a crooked smile.
— You’re not going to turn it on?
His lips weren’t the only thing that was crooked. He was still surrounded by a pink aura until he continued in a cold voice.
— If you don’t turn it on, I’ll think that you’re having sex with another bastard. Is it Ryu SungJae? Is he there with you right now?
“You’re seriously…”
She angrily turned on her camera.
“Why would you say something like that?”
Even though she was glaring at him, his perfect lips were stretched into a smile as they slowly opened.
— I was just joking. Don’t be mad.
“I’ll say this just to be clear, but I don’t like people who look like that.”
— Then why did you cast him?
“The producer urged me to do it. And that role was perfect for Ryu SungJae.”
— So is everything going well now?
“Do I need to report everything about my day to you?”
The reason why Kyuwol’s easygoing question made her angry was because it had hit the heart of her problem. Because of their differing interpretations of the character, Ryu SungJae and Dayoung had butt heads ever since they began to film. She glanced at the pen sitting next to the screenplay she had heavily annotated. Kyuwol had engraved her name onto it and presented it to her as a gift. Seeing this, she felt apologetic for her behavior.
“Sorry. I think I’m just a bit tired.”
— I think that’s definitely it.
He whispered as he gazed at her, but his voice sounded strange. He was good at controlling his expressions, but not when it came to his voice. His handsome lips were slightly parted. Dayoung cautiously asked him a question.
“Are you mad? I just didn’t want to talk about something so unpleasant, so…”
— Shut your mouth and just look at me.
She frowned. His usually pale neck was a bit red. Now that she got a closer look at his cold, gray eyes, she could see that they were a bit feverish.
“What are you doing right now…?”
— Me?
As if he’d been waiting for her to ask, Kyuwol lowered the camera. Suddenly, his beautiful face disappeared and an unexpected scene filled her screen. His erect cock was piercing through his dark pubic hair and pushing up against his belly button. She saw his hand slowly rubbing it up and down. Startled, she automatically pressed the button to end the call.
The thought of him masturbating while they had a casual conversation made her body react first. She felt her underwear grow damp. After retiring from competitive swimming, Kyuwol stopped shaving his body. According to him, he no longer wanted to shave his dick for other people because it made him feel like shit. His pubic hair was a lot darker than the hair on his head, and it made his cock look a lot more grotesque and scary than before.
Is that why… I’m so turned on?
Dayoung bit her lips and frowned. Her phone that she had tossed on the table began to ring again. She cautiously flipped it around. Thankfully, it wasn’t another video call. The image she had just seen would not leave her head. She cleared her throat and answered the call.
“You surprised me.”
— Even though you shoot scenes that are worse than this?
Kyuwol’s husky voice laughed. He was definitely still moving his hand up and down below.
— No matter how much I imagine that your hand is the one that’s moving… As expected, doing it by myself feels like shit.
“Then don’t do it.”
— Is it possible for you to not get turned on when you think about me?
Kyuwol’s sudden question caused her to gulp. Kyuwol didn’t wait for an answer and continued to speak.
— It feels the best when you kiss and touch me after we finish having sex.
Whenever Dayoung was tired, it was difficult for her to match Kyuwol’s high sex drive. After having sex, in order to soothe his unfettered arousal, she’d caress and kiss him as she stroked him in her palm.
— Well, I guess whenever you and I are apart like this, I get excited just by thinking about seeing you again. It was the same when I used to stay at the athletes’ village, too.
As his voice faded away, she raised the volume on her phone to the maximum to hear him better. The tension in her body gradually went away.
“I thought of you when I was taking a shower.”
— What did you do while thinking of me?
“…Exactly what you think I did.”
The area between her legs grew wet. Her body had already partially melted from the hot shower, but it was starting to grow warm from something else. Kyuwol remained silent on the phone.
“And right now, too.”
Kyuwol had probably recognized her quickening breaths. As expected, his breaths began to grow heavy over the phone. But he probably didn’t know what she was doing with the pen he had gifted her right now.
— You know how much I’m holding back because of you, right?
Because she had become a variable that had appeared in his life, she probably didn’t completely understand how much he was enduring because of her. However, the important thing was that she was also trying her best in her own way to continue living in this world with him.
“It’s because you love me.”
Just like how I love you, you feel the same way.
She could hear Kyuwol’s panting breaths through her phone. They began to quicken, and it only served to make her grow even more aroused. Dayoung focused on the sound of his breaths and closed her eyes. Through the rhythm of his breathing, she could clearly feel his movements. Every time he entered in and out of her, when he was about to climax, his breaths sounded just like this.
“Ah, haa…”
Dayoung arched her hips and let out a thin moan. Kyuwol hissed through his teeth and asked her a question.
— Feel good?
Dayoung’s nipples painfully perked up. It was the same voice he made whenever he squeezed her breasts.
“Feel good?”
“Yeah. So good.”
A strained groan and a curse flowed into her ear.
— Fuck… I want to come inside you right now.
She felt like she could smell his scent mixed in with the fragrance of the rain. Dayoung closed her thighs together and trembled. The pen that Kyuwol had gifted her fell to the floor underneath the chair. The tingling feeling traveled down to her toes, and she felt herself grow limp. She dampened her dry lips and tried to calm her breaths. His refreshed voice called out from the phone.
— I feel like I can stay back home in a better mood now. Get some rest, Dayoung.
Kyuwol ended the call with a voice that didn’t have an ounce of disappointment. Dayoung laid limply on the bed and burst into laughter. The torrential rain was still falling outside, and she was almost certain that they wouldn’t be able to film anything tomorrow either. However, there were times when days like this were necessary.
Three hours by car away, their nest of a home was situated in the heart of the city. She needed some time to miss home. As soon as his arousal was taken care of, her boyfriend had ended the call in such a cold manner. She felt a bit disappointed. But she often needed some time to feel this way. To feel afraid that he would do something dangerous for her sake.
But more importantly, in moments like these, she realized that just as much as Lee Kyuwol wanted her, she also craved him.
Traces of her arousal still remained, and the area between her legs trembled. Dayoung wrapped the sheets around her body. She looked at her faint reflection in the dark panes of the window. The small Dayoung inside her no longer looked disgusting. She watched as a small bug flew to the window, avoiding the rain. She drew a small heart on the foggy windowpane.
* * *
Finding the production team wasn’t difficult. It was a quiet beach, and when he saw the parked trailer cars, he parked his own car. Just fifteen minutes ago, the sky was red with the sunset. But now, it was turning into a dark blue as the sun began to set beyond the horizon.
“Good work, everyone!”
It looked like filming had just wrapped. After putting off filming due to the rain, three days had passed since they’d begun filming outdoors again. The scene needed to be filmed during sunset, so they were restricted by the time of day and the weather. Dayoung and the staff were incredibly stressed about this shoot.
“Huh? Who is that? Excuse me, we’re in the middle of filming, so…”
The first person to discover him as he stepped onto the sandy beach was not Dayoung but a member of the staff. A short man rushed over to the stranger and squinted from behind his glasses.
“Are you…”
The stranger grinned at the man and held out his hand.
“Hello. I was in the area and thought I’d pop by and greet everyone.”
“Ah… yes, thank you.”
The staff member grabbed his hand with both of his hands and shook it. His flustered eyes looked around before he belted out in a voice that didn’t seem to suit his small frame.
“Director-nim! Athlete Lee Kyuwol is here!”
Sitting in a camping chair, her back was to him. Dayoung turned around. When Kyuwol waved his hand at her, he felt like he could see her bewildered face from where he was standing.
“Lee Kyuwol? Wow. Daebak. This is my first time seeing him in person!”
He greeted the whispering staff members with his eyes and slowly walked towards Dayoung, who was holding a thin cigarette between her fingers. Her bobbed hair that she had cut before she started filming tickled the nape of her neck. She was wearing a baggy hooded t-shirt and similarly baggy comfortable pants. Her small face was covered by a black cap. He was curious about the expression she was making and had a sudden urge to take her cap off.
“What… brings you here?”
“There was a swimming competition in the vicinity.”
There was no need to let her know that he’d driven 120 kilometers to get here. It didn’t make much of a difference anyway. Dayoung dropped her cigarette into a used beverage can and nodded her head.
“…Aah.”
Judging from the way her neck was red, she found this situation to be very awkward.
“Have you finished filming for the day?”
“Yeah. But we were planning on going out for dinner tonight…”
He had expected Dayoung to react this way. Although it wasn’t as bad as before, she still found it uncomfortable to interact with him in front of others. Therefore, Kyuwol wanted to make her even more uncomfortable.
“Ah. It just so happens to be time for dinner. Where are you guys headed?”
He glanced down at his watch. An intelligent-looking staff member intervened.
“There’s a fish stew place that we always go to. It looks like you’ve come a long way, so let’s all go together.”
“Shall we?”
“It would be our honor. May I ask you an unrelated question? What cologne do you use? It smells wonderful.”
“If you give me your address, I’ll send one to you.”
He deftly responded to the staff member’s incessant praise and thought to himself. Should I really attend their dinner and tease her? He felt like it would be fun, but he ultimately decided to let it go. Although seeing Dayoung’s face grow red with anger was a sight he wouldn’t mind seeing, she was a lot more sensitive when it came to matters regarding her work.
“Now that I think about it, I don’t think it would be good for me to ruin the mood. I really only stopped by to see her face.”
He patted her shoulders and softly said, ‘I’ll go now.’ As he bid everyone farewell, Dayoung suddenly acted differently than expected. She grabbed his arm.
“Come with us. Eat before you leave.”
“…Are you serious?”
His lips stretched into a crooked smile and asked back. His reaction wasn’t surprising. Before she went out to film, she never gave him her schedule. It was probably because she didn’t want to shed any light on the events that had taken place two years ago. Dayoung lifted her face so that he could see it underneath her cap. When their eyes met, she nodded.
“Just wait a little. We’re going to finish wrapping up soon. I’ll introduce you to the actors, too. Oh, SungJae-ssi.”
Ryu SungJae must have taken a shower after filming had wrapped up because he was coming back to set with a towel around his neck. He paused for a moment before walking towards them.
“This person here is my guest… Lee Kyuwol.”
“Ah, hello. Nice to meet you.”
Ryu SungJae had shaved his head until his hair was merely 2 millimeters long. However, just as Dayoung had said, because of his handsome head shape, it seemed to suit him. This was the first time he was unhappy with his girlfriend’s eye for beauty. The thought of Ryu SungJae’s face popping into Dayoung’s head made Kyuwol grit his teeth.
“Nice to meet you. I’m a fan of yours.”
Kyuwol took SungJae’s outstretched hand. He could feel his nervousness through his damp palm, but an actor was still an actor.
“It’s an honor.”
Ryu SungJae’s grinning face held no trace of fear.
“SungJae-ssi suffered a lot during filming today. The scene came out well.”
Dayoung took a step closer to Kyuwol. Judging by her voice, she was telling the truth. Unlike the helpless voice from a few days ago, she sounded very excited. Did the conflict between the lead actor and the director finally come to an end? Rather than relief, Kyuwol was overcome by a sense of disappointment, but he couldn’t let it show.
“Really?”
Kyuwol smiled happily. Then he turned to Ryu SungJae and spoke.
“I always thought you were an impressive actor. Ever since she began casting for the film, she said it couldn’t be anyone else but you, so I’m really looking forward to this movie.”
“Such high praise. You came a long way, so why don’t you spend some time alone with the director today?”
“He’s going to join us all for dinner.”
When Dayoung opened her mouth, Ryu SungJae laughed and shook his hand.
“We’ll go without you today, Director-nim. You’ve also been seeing our faces all day long during these shoots, so you must be tired of us.”
His clear voice laughed out a joke, and there was no trace of ill will at all. Of course, Ryu SungJae probably didn’t want to share the same table with the man who had threatened to throw him off the terrace balcony, so he was probably disguising his displeasure with kindness and trying to kick them out of their dinner plans. Kyuwol glanced at Dayoung and played his part.
“The boss should step out from time to time.”
“Let’s get moving!”
Someone shouted out, and Ryu SungJae lowered his head.
“Then I’ll meet you at the preview, Director.”
Once the filming crew withdrew, they could hear the sound of the waves and the squeals of the seagulls. After taking the suggestions of the other actors, Dayoung finally bid them farewell and approached him.
“Why did you suddenly come here without saying anything?”
“I told you. There was a competition nearby.”
“That was yesterday.”
When Dayoung brought up his schedule, he no longer had any reason to lie. Kyuwol laughed at her and changed the subject.
“Sit down over there for a minute.”
He pointed to the director’s chair that the staff had left behind. Dayoung let out a short sigh and did as he said. He gazed at Dayoung as she sat in the green camping chair and asked her a question.
“Do you dislike the fact that I came?”
The sound of the crashing waves rang out from behind him. Although the sun had not fully set, they could see the faint outline of the moon in the sky.
“No.”
“Then… are you crazy happy?”
The sea wind blew Dayoung’s hat off of her head. The moment his shadow covered her and the chair, Dayoung stood up and gave him a deep kiss. The damp wind rustled through Dayoung’s soft hair. His hand tickled her skin as it enclosed around her cheek.
He licked her slightly rough lips and parted them. He plunged inside and sucked on her small lump of flesh. Despite the surge of saliva, he grew even more thirsty. As he pressed down on her small body with his large one, he changed the angle of his head and continued to violate her mouth. Dayoung drew in a deep breath and pushed him away.
“What is it?”
“There’s something I want to show you. Look over there.”
He turned his head to where she pointed. In the horizon, fishing boats bobbed up and down as they turned on their lights. The boats were lined up along the water, and their lights illuminated the sky. Dayoung looked at them with a dreamy look on her face.
“Isn’t it so pretty?”
“Who? You?”
Dayoung glared at him and laughed in disbelief. Then she sat down in the sand.
“There’s a perfectly good chair here. Why sit on the ground?”
“It’s fine, so just sit down.”
He did as she said and sat down. The sky was now turning purple, and the lights on the fishing boats grew even brighter.
“Are you still scared of the sea?”
During her childhood, back when she could hardly remember anything, she told him that she had almost drowned in the sea. Therefore, she had become afraid of the water, and before she met him, she never went near any body of water. Dayoung laughed silently and looked at him as she nodded.
“But it’s still beautiful. So much that I can’t breathe.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Sometimes, I feel so overwhelmed.”
Among the movies that Dayoung had filmed, there wasn’t a single one that didn’t have a scene at the sea. He wanted to try and bite down on her crinkled nose. He opened his mouth.
“You’re in a good mood right now.”
“How’d you know?”
“I could tell you were excited from a hundred meters away.”
Dayoung didn’t deny it and shrugged.
“I’m in a good mood because you came. I missed you.”
“Even though you complained that you were depressed like a little kid just a few days ago?”
Dayoung frowned and looked at him. He might have continued to provoke her because he wanted to see this face from her.
“I realized that I can’t make a movie on my own. But it’s alright now.”
“Whenever that happens, regain your balance. You might end up wanting to commit suicide when you watch the rough cut.”
Dayoung shook her head from side to side and turned her eyes back to the horizon.
“You don’t have to tell me that. I’m already nervous enough as it is.”
“But don’t forget one thing.”
He gazed at her profile and spoke in a low, clear voice.
“You’re always right.”
“…What are you talking about?”
Even though she was drowned out by the sound of the waves, he could still feel the tremors in her voice. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her towards him so that she was leaning against him.
“Even if you’re a bit wrong, I’ll stay by your side so that you can walk with your shoulders back and your head high.”
Dayoung lifted her head and silently stared at him. Her black eyes gradually grew damp. Seeing this, his mouth went dry.
“To be honest, I do sometimes want to see your disappointed face. Whenever I see you crying as if your world is crumbling down, something inside here gets excited.”
“I seriously hate that.”
After hearing something she felt like she heard a thousand times, Dayoung laughed. She grew deep in thought for a moment before asking him a question.
“You… Did you really meet Ryu SungJae for the first time today?”
Kyuwol wondered if his acting had been awkward or if the top actor’s acting had been awkward. He answered her without any hesitation.
“Of course not.”
“What?”
“I watched every single movie that the bastard starred in. I felt like I was seeing a familiar neighbor when I met him.”
“And here I thought…”
Dayoung let out a sigh of relief. He wasn’t sure how many times he’d fooled her like this, but there were things in this world that would bring her no good if she knew. Kyuwol recalled the pen that she had latched onto her script and laughed.
“You thought what?”
“Nothing. It’s nothing.”
When she answered vaguely, he spoke the words she couldn’t say out loud.
“I won’t do anything you’re worried about. Never.”
“Please don’t.”
“Okay. Even if I were to cheat on you, I’ll never let you catch me.”
“That right there was a bit funny.”
A laugh burst out of her lips. He gazed into her eyes and added on.
“Don’t let me catch you either.”
No matter who that person is, I’ll rip him apart.
“Okay. I’ll keep that in mind.”
Dayoung nodded her head, unable to hide her laughter. Kyuwol licked his bottom lip.
“This is turning me on.”
“Even when I’m sleeping with someone else, I’ll think of you.”
Fuck. Even though he knew that she was joking and only saying it to provoke him, Kyuwol became aroused. If she told him she was going to jump off a cliff, he would think it was fun and jump off with her. If someone hurt her, he’d rip them to shreds and feed their dead bodies to her.
“You’ve grown a lot, Jung Dayoung.”
Among the sound of the splashing waves, he laughed. Ever since they had shared their first kiss, his body had been aroused to its limit. Dayoung recognized the gleam in his eyes and chuckled as she stood up.
“Let’s go. My hotel is only fifteen minutes away by car.”
As she moved to walk up to the seawall, he followed after. Suddenly, he grabbed her hips and brought her to him.
“I can’t wait.”
“W-Wait.”
Even though the entire production staff had left and the beach was empty, it was still completely open. And Lee Kyuwol didn’t care about any of this.
“As the sun sets, my ability to endure fades away.”
“But we still can’t do it outside.”
The more she rejected him, the more aroused he became. He couldn’t believe she hadn’t realized this yet. A large freight truck with the words “Filming” printed on its side caught his eye. When he didn’t see a padlock on the trailer, he didn’t hesitate to unbolt the latch and open the door.
“Is it okay as long as there is a roof over our heads?”
He picked Dayoung up and placed her inside. Then he jumped in and closed the door behind him. He began to take off his clothes before she could escape. He took off his shirt and placed it on the floor for her before laying her down on top. He grabbed her flimsy sweatpants and pulled them down. The black lacy panties that he had personally picked out for her appeared before his eyes. This is cheating, Dayoung.
“I was sweating all day as I walked around today.”
“Even better.”
He buried his face against her nakedness between her legs and drew in a deep breath. His face had grown cold from the cold sea wind, and her warmth felt nice. He pulled out his tongue and licked her red, swollen clitoris. Her arousal began to flow out from between her folds.
The two of them sucked on each other’s filth. They shared a terrible, symbiotic relationship. It was a stability and arousal that he would never find in anyone else. With a face covered in her arousal, he pulled back and began to unbuckle his pants. She sat back and drew in a deep breath before crawling over to him. There was no need to wait for one’s turn or ask. It all proceeded so naturally.
“Your knees will get dirty.”
Dayoung grabbed his cock with her hand. It was dripping with similar arousal to hers. He raised her eyes and whispered in a half-mocking and half-dejected voice.
“I’m with you, so it’s already too late for me to be clean anywhere.”
He hissed out a curse and clenched his hand around her head. The bulging veins on his neck twitched. His aroused expression probably looked like that of a demon, but Dayoung did not back away. She merely took him in even deeper as if she wanted him to watch. As if to test her limits, he pushed inside her small mouth.
They say that humans are creatures that adapt, but whenever his monstrous cock entered inside her, Dayoung flinched and moaned. Her thick saliva enclosed around him like a storm before dripping out.
Tears trickled down from the red rims of her eyes. Even as he rubbed them, Kyuwol did not stop violating her mouth. He was certain that she was growing wet at the thought of possessing him.
“Kyuwol, I’m eating you, aren’t I?”
“You only realized it now?”
After he got on top of her, the head of his cock snaked through the walls of her entrance. Like a carnivorous plant that consumed bugs, Dayoung’s entrance opened wide and swallowed him whole. Kyuwol felt as if he had plunged into her hot, damp depths, and his breaths turned ragged. He continued to enter her until he had thrust in to the root. Dayoung’s body trembled. He swept his hand down her arm, feeling the goosebumps rising on her skin, as he murmured.
“You’ve been doing it since we first met.”
“Haa…”
“You push me into situations I never expected to be in, and then you start nibbling on my fingers until everything I am is completely dependent on you.”
The sex was rough from the very start. Every time he moved, his hard scrotum would hit her below her entrance, and their combined fluids would splatter onto her thighs. She couldn’t endure his strength, and her body began to move up with each thrust. He grabbed onto her body. A dull climax surged and shattered her several times, causing her to writhe. He hung her bobbing legs over his arms and began to pump shallow thrusts, hitting her erogenous zone in the process.
“Aah, aahng, Kyuwol… Ugh! Hnnng!”
As her body shook from her climax, he pulled her on top of him. He pulled her down so quickly that her ample bottom made a smacking noise as it hit his body. He could feel the vibrations running down from her entrance onto his cock. A red handprint formed on her bottom, and Dayoung wasn’t able to withstand her climax as she groaned.
“Does it hurt to eat me?”
He asked as he squeezed her red bottom until it seemed like it would shatter. Dayoung wasn’t able to speak, so she merely shook her head from side to side. He wasn’t sure if his heightened arousal was due to her long absence or something else. The only thing he was certain of was that he wanted her so much that he could kill her.
“Aagh…!”
He snatched her slender neck and plunged his teeth down on her skin. He fiercely sucked on her flesh. He was sure that his mouth would leave red marks tomorrow. Dayoung trembled as she moaned.
“S-Stop, Kyuwol.”
Her walls squeezed around him, and he felt like he would burst. A strained moan finally flowed out of his throat.
“Too late.”
He planned on covering her body with traces of himself. So that other people could clearly see what she had done with her boyfriend all night long.
Suddenly, they heard voices outside.
“I mean, who do you think will be coming all the way out here this late at night, Noona?”
“Even if they’re the clothes for the actors, if someone steals them, I’ll be fired and turn into a beggar.”
It seemed that they were staff members who had just realized that they did not lock the trailer doors before they left. Kyuwol had been in the middle of enjoying the fruits of their shoddy lack of care when it came to closing down the film site, so the interruption wasn’t a welcome one. Although he didn’t feel the need to hide what they were doing, he didn’t want others to see them having sex.
To put it more accurately, he didn’t want others to see Dayoung’s wet eyes as she swallowed him up. Her red cheeks. Her parted lips. Her beautiful, curvy bosom. And her parted entrance as it surrounded his cock. He didn’t plan on presenting such a sight to anyone else.
Because you’re mine.
“But didn’t the car seem like it was shaking just a moment ago?”
However, what changed his mind was Dayoung grabbing onto his arm. Startled by the unwelcome guests, Dayoung’s eyes provoked him. Just as he pulled his hips back, he suddenly thrust back deep inside.
“Lee Kyuwol. Please. Stop.”
“It’s already obvious what we’ve been doing.”
What else would lovers do inside a parked car that had its engine turned off? What else but sex?
“So we need to hide.”
“What?”
He laughed in disbelief. Dayoung pushed him away. She hid herself behind the racks of densely packed clothes and hurriedly called out to him.
“Hurry up and come here.”
“What if a burglar is really inside…?!”
“Jeez, I’m sure it was just your imagination, Noona. I’ll check for you. Stay there.”
The voice that grew closer sounded familiar. It was probably the staff member with the loud voice who had invited him to their dinner. Dayoung’s face looked pathetic. She sat up against the wall closest to the driver’s seat and continued to move back.
“Why are you turning me into a criminal?”
He whispered silently as he approached Dayoung and chuckled. She glared up at him with red eyes.
“I’m asking you to think about my position right now.”
“Shall we invite those two to join us? Then we can share the secret.”
“Don’t say something you don’t even mean.”
Dayoung looked like she was on the verge of tears as she bit her lips. She was very serious right now. He did his best to hide his gleeful expression as he placed his hands on her knees and pulled them apart.
“What do you think I mean to do right now?”
Her shocked eyes widened. As he gazed at her face, his erection slid in between the walls of her entrance. Her walls squeezed around him, and he felt like he was going to ejaculate. Dayoung’s mouth opened as she let out a silent cry, and he covered her lips with his own. She was completely stuck to the wall and couldn’t move, and Kyuwol began to move in quick, shallow thrusts. Her thighs twitched, indicating she was about to reach her second climax.
“Hey, seriously, be careful!”
The iron doors burst open, and a faint light flashed through the rows of clothes. Dayoung flinched and curled up in fear, and he covered her body with his own as he placed sweet kisses on her lips to soothe her.
“Look, no one’s here, right…?”
Judging from the way his voice faded away towards the end, Kyuwol guessed that he had noticed something. He was sensitive enough to notice the scent of his cologne when they met earlier, so he might have recognized it inside this windowless trailer. Or he might have noticed the sticky atmosphere of sex floating in the air. If not that, maybe he heard the lewd sound of two bodies eating each other.
Tap! Tap!
As soon as the door hurriedly closed, Dayoung let out the thin moan she had been holding back.
“Ugh… Nnng!”
Would you look at that? Even in a situation like this, she still felt every inch of him so well. There wasn’t anyone else who was as lovable as her. Thinking this, Kyuwol happily ejaculated. His semen drenched her womb, but dirtying her this way was still not enough. He nibbled and chewed on her neck.
“Really? There’s really no one in there?”
“That’s what I said! Let’s hurry up and leave, Noona.”
As the voices grew further away, Dayoung’s love drunk eyes finally cleared up as reason returned.
“Did they… lock the door?”
“I’m not sure. I’m curious about that, too.”
As Dayoung reproached herself, Kyuwol placed kisses along her neck and collar.
“Are you worried we won’t be able to get out?”
“No. I’m worried you’ll destroy the door and add to our production costs.”
Unable to hold in his laughter, Kyuwol buried his face against her breasts. Her racing heartbeat calmed him down. So did her sweet, soothing touch as she caressed his back. Still inside her, Kyuwol spoke up in a hoarse voice.
“Your promise to stay together forever… You still mean it, right?”
Dayoung had once mumbled this when she was drunk.
“When the same words come out of your mouth, they sound different.”
He could understand what she meant. The forever he spoke of was not the sweet whisper of love. It was more like imprisonment. However, he was incredibly curious about Dayoung’s truth. As he squeezed his arms around her, suffocating her until all the breath was stuck inside her throat, he was very satisfied with himself.
“Of course.”
He drew in a deep breath of the scent of her skin and hid his smile. Their surroundings were quiet. All they could hear was the crashing of the waves as the tide was drawn in by the moon. Dayoung embraced him and whispered in a soft voice.
“Kyuwol.”
“Mm.”
Her voice sounded dreamy as she asked him a question.
“What if… Just what if… Suddenly, in this moment, a meteor crashed into the earth and the world exploded. What would happen?”
It sounded like a question she’d ask, and Kyuwol chuckled. Some people were loners from birth. Of this he was certain.
People who were classified as weirdos. These people tried to shed their skin and pretended to be like other people. However, when they were alone, the darkness ate away at them. The fact that Dayoung could not overcome this was a boon for him.
“We’ll become space dust and go to the moon together.”
Dayoung’s arms tensed around him. Her tear-filled voice tickled his ear.
“Yeah. Then I don’t think I’ll be scared at all.”
Those who were enchanted by the moon lived their lives hidden in darkness. Unable to endure the bitter loneliness of the night. Even when you want to strangle yourself, I hope you think of me. As your face changes with time, I will follow you and be by your side every moment of every day.
Us. We are complete like this.
