Chapter 43. Leo and Jaina, Adel and Lilian

Eddie smiled slyly at Leo. Because of that smile, Jaina realized anew how crazy this man was in the original story.

A man who did everything he could just to have Lilian. A man who was crazy about love. A man who was teetering between the line of love or obsession.

While thinking about that, Jaina looked at Eddie with a sullen look. As if he sensed her gaze, she instinctively flinched at Eddie who turned his head. He looked at her with the corners of his mouth raised. She felt strangely uncomfortable. His smile, his eyes.

“What are you doing with my saint?” 

Leo, who had come next to Jaina, grabbed her arm and pulled her behind him as if hiding her. Eddie furrowed his eyebrows at Leo’s actions. 

“We just happened to meet by chance.” 

Leo slightly frowned at Eddie’s words and turned his head to look at Jaina. 

“Let’s go back, Jaina.” 

“You’re not going back now, are you?” 

Eddie suddenly interrupted Leo’s words. Leo frowned angrily and looked at Eddie. 

“What?” 

“I heard you’re staying one more day. So I’ve prepared a meeting between Her Majesty the Empress and the Northern Saint tomorrow.”

“Who.”

“Yes?”

“Who is arbitrarily preparing a meeting between my Saint and Her Majesty the Empress.”

“You’re staying a few days.”

“….”

“That’s right, Adel…….”

Eddie shrugged his shoulders and answered.

“No one can order me around except His Majesty the Emperor.”

“That’s right.”

“If His Majesty the Emperor absolutely says to do so, I’ll go see her myself.”

Eddie’s face hardened at Leo’s words. He tried to smile playfully, stroking his chin.

“Hey, why are you trying to make such a big deal out of it? Brother Adel wants to be with you for the first time in a long time. And he wants to show the Northern Saint to Her Majesty the Empress…….”

“Stop talking nonsense.” 

“You’re my brother.” 

“We’re not blood brothers.” 

“You have royal blood flowing through your body, just like us. As proof, you’re giving your power to that saintess.” 

Eddie tilted his head and gestured to Jaina behind him. 

Leo let out a small laugh at Eddie’s words and turned to Jaina. 

“I don’t enjoy puns, so let’s stop here. I was going to stay one more day, but I lost all desire to do so.”

Then he looked at Jaina and said quietly.

“I want to clear up the misunderstanding, Jaina.”

Just now, due to their conversation, Jaina had a gut feeling that Leo and the princes were not on good terms. While recalling the original story, Jaina was thinking about whether there had ever been a story about the relationship between the Northern Grand Duke and the three Princes. She suddenly came to her senses when Leo called her.

At his words that he wanted to clear up the misunderstanding, she looked up at Leo’s face, recalling the situation she had seen with her own two eyes.

“I’ll tell you everything, so let’s go back to the castle for now.”

Since she didn’t seem to have any intention of returning to the castle, she thought they would go tomorrow. But when he suddenly said that they should go, she nodded without realizing it.

She also didn’t want to stay in the palace anymore.

“Yes. I want to go back.”

Leo’s face brightened at Jaina’s words, and he grabbed her hand and started walking. Jaina was led by his hand and walked, turning her head to look at Eddie without realizing it. He was still staring at her with an unpleasant smile.

Jaina quickly turned her head and looked at Leo’s back.

She wondered what she should do if he had given Lilian the power. Since Leo had said that he would take  responsibility and give her another royal family member, he would definitely not break his promise.

However, the problem was that she didn’t want to receive the power of another royal family member. Jaina didn’t want to have sex with any man other than Leo. At the moment, she realized that she had fallen for Leo.

‘I’m really stupid.’

She couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the thought of falling in love with a man who might hand her over to another royal member. Once Leo met the original heroine, Lilian, there was no guarantee that he wouldn’t fall for her.

No, judging from the fact that he was naked and hugging her, he might have already fallen for Lilian.

Jaina’s worries disappeared as soon as she returned to the north.

“I came out after washing up, and the saintess of the palace was sitting on my bed.”

Jaina, who was climbing the stairs with him, looked at him with surprised eyes at Leo’s words. He continued to speak while holding her hand tightly and climbing the stairs.

“She said that when the saint first received the power from another royal member, the power was the strongest and asked me to give it to her.”

“Oh, His Highness the Crown Prince said the same thing.”

Leo’s steps stopped at Jaina’s words. His eyes became terrifyingly sharp.

“What?”

“I told him that we should ask you. He said he would give me his powers.”

Leo took a deep breath at those words, putting strength into her grasping hand.

“Good job, Jaina.”

“I did well, but what about you?”

Jaina glared at Leo.

Leo turned around and looked at Jaina, genuinely feeling wronged.

“She kept coming at me, so I backed away and fell, but she caught me.”

“Why did you fall on the bed?”

“You can’t believe it, but it’s true.”

“I saw you naked.”

“I said I came out after washing.”

“So when Lilian caught you, did you get hard?”

Jaina said, tapping Leo’s lower body with her finger. Then his center began to swell terribly.

His pants started to swell in real time. When Jaina widened her eyes in surprise at the sight, Leo grabbed her again and started to climb the stairs.

“If it’s not you, I won’t get hard.”

Jaina’s lips naturally rose at Leo’s muttered words, her ears turning red. As soon as she found out that Lilian had planned to seduce Leo, she felt a strange sense of unease. But she was a little relieved that Leo didn’t seem interested in her at the moment.

‘Okay. I’ll just tell him not to go to the palace again.’

Leo had been listening to her completely up until now. She thought he would refuse to go to the palace if she said no. That thought made her feel a little relieved.

“Nothing really happened.”

As soon as they climbed the stairs and entered the bedroom, Leo hugged Jaina. She moaned as if she was in pain because Leo was hugging her so tightly that it hurt.

“Trust me, Jaina.”

“Oh, let go. It hurts.”

Leo finally released his arms after hearing her say it hurt, and looked at Jaina with an anxious expression.
