by KANWoohyeok, who had come out of the bathroom, grabbed what he needed and headed back inside.
However, his steps stopped at the sight of Soobin standing in front of the door, her body still dripping wet. A confused expression flickered across his face.
“I thought this would be more comfortable.”
Ignoring the water dripping from the ends of her hair, Soobin approached Woohyeok. She grabbed the small square package from his hand.
Eyes locked with his, she deliberately bit the corner of the package and tore it open before slowly reaching for the contents.
“The bed will be soaked.”
“The staff will clean it. And you’ll be the one to leave the tip, Woohyeok-ssi.”
With that, she pressed lightly against his chest.
He landed on the bed with a soft thud, and Soobin climbed on top of him, leaning down. Her wet hair brushed his face.
“This time you listen to me.”
“I’ll try.”
Soobin cupped Woohyeok’s face with both hands. The moisture clinging to her skin stole her body heat, sending intermittent shivers through her frame.
With trembling lips, beyond her own control, she pressed her mouth to Woohyeok’s perfectly formed lips.
I wonder how much effort it takes to do that.
“Hold me.”
The hands wrapped around her back were hot, sending shivers down her spine. Her hypersensitive skin welcomed Woohyeok’s touch and became even hotter.
***
Soobin stared blankly at the white ceiling with her eyes wide open.
She couldn’t understand what she was feeling.
Each encounter began with determination, but always ended in humiliation.
Last night was no different.
She had intended to see this so-called effort through to the end, but her patience was not up to the challenge and finally gave out first. After that, she would inevitably be toyed with and dragged into a mess of debauchery.
But somewhere along the way, she had begun to enjoy it.
There was a saying about making the best of a bad situation, but this wasn’t a situation where such a saying applied. And yet she found herself responding to the intense pleasure he was giving her.
Burying her face in the sheets, spilling unswallowed saliva and still hoping it wouldn’t stop – there was no other word for it but madness. And to make matters worse, last night’s intensity had been even more overwhelming than usual.
She wasn’t supposed to accept that, to let him in. She was supposed to keep her walls up, but he had broken through her defenses, leaving her completely drained.
Soobin tried to sit up, then collapsed back onto the bed, her hand covering her aching core.
She felt a dull pain, a strange swelling.
“Stay in bed if you’re tired.”
She looked at Woohyeok as he came out of the bathroom.
She couldn’t order room service in this state. They had made a mess and she desperately needed a shower.
“Help me up.”
Soobin held out her hand, and Woohyeok walked over and gently pulled her up.
Her body, exposed as the sheets slid down, was covered in marks.
If the pressure had lasted much longer, her pride would have broken first. And that, it seemed, had unleashed a torrent of pent-up desire.
“I went too far last night.”
“……”
Soobin’s eyes widened at the unexpected apology.
She cleared her throat, then forced a playful expression.
“You did. It’s good you know. I was getting scared.”
She watched him carefully. It was unlike Woohyeok to express regret, so she was curious to see what he would do next.
He sat down on the edge of the bed and cupped her chin gently.
“Open your mouth.”
“Why?”
“I want to see if you’re okay.”
Soobin ran her tongue over her lips and flinched.
“I’m fine.”
Her face was pale, but her tone was unchanged, so it seemed the damage wasn’t too bad.
“Ah.“
“I said I’m fine. Why are you acting so worried now?”
She tried to pull away from his touch, her words sharper than she intended. She didn’t want him to see how much his touch affected her.
“I need to see how your mouth is before I order food. I don’t want you to lose your appetite.”
“If you were worried about that, you should have been a little gentler.”
“Yoo Soobin-ssi has a knack for driving me crazy. It’s not easy to resist.”
“It sounds like you’re saying it’s my fault.”
She pouted and shook her head.
He was surprisingly persistent. Finally, she opened her mouth.
“Happy now?”
There were several red marks on the inside of her lips and cheeks. They didn’t look too serious, but they could easily turn into wounds if she wasn’t careful.
Woohyeok released her chin and scooped her into his arms. Soobin clutched at the sheets as they slipped away, leaving her naked and exposed.
“You scared me.”
“You looked like you were having trouble walking.”
“Can you carry me all day?”
“If you want me to.”
Though his tone was light, she had a feeling he might actually do it.
“Please let me down. I can walk on my own.”
Woohyeok chuckled and carried her into the bathroom, gently placing her in the tub that was already filled with water.
Soobin sighed as the warm water soothed her aching muscles. She sank deeper into the tub, the water reaching her chin.
“Did you prepare this?”
“You tossed and turned all night.”
Her aching body became much more comfortable.
“What about breakfast?”
Soobin opened her eyes and looked around.
She wanted to soak in the warm water, let her exhausted body recover, but she was also starving.
“Wait here.”
She watched him leave the bathroom.
A moment later, he returned with a pamphlet in his hand.
“Choose something. Or I’ll order for you.”
Soobin’s lips curved into a slight smile as she took the room service menu.
He was relentless in bed, his touch bordering on cruel, but he had an uncanny ability to pinpoint her most sensitive spots. And that same sensitivity extended to other areas as well.
“Order for me. And a hot coffee, please.”
Woohyeok watched as she closed her eyes and sank deeper into the water, then withdrew his outstretched hand.
If she was really here for another reason, she would cling to him regardless of his attitude. And she had shown glimpses of that desperation.
He didn’t understand why he bothered to care about her. He always calculated his every move, but his plans always went wrong.
Right now, things are interesting. Maybe I’ll have a little more fun and see what happens.
He stepped out of the bathroom and placed their order, then chuckled at the sight of the tangled sheets.
They were a vivid reminder of their passionate encounter. He had pretended not to care, but the fact that she had momentarily taken control had bothered him. And the way he had reacted… was almost comical.
Maybe the flight, the first one he had taken in a long time, had affected him more than he had realized.
He picked up his phone from the nightstand and walked over to the window, glancing at the bathroom.
“What’s the status?”
-There were no unusual movements from his inner circle. But there is one thing that concerns me.
“What is it?”
-One of the people who was at Hongilgak during your meeting with the vice chairman was also seen in the lobby during your visit to the company. A woman. I checked her out, and she’s not an employee. It could be a coincidence, but…
“There is no such thing as coincidence.”
Woohyeok’s voice held a hint of intrigue.
-Indeed. As you instructed, I had someone watching the airport. She was seen at the Singapore Airlines counter this morning.
“She’s coming here.”
-Yes. I’ve already made arrangements. I just sent you the information.
Woohyeok hung up and opened the email attachment.
The woman in the photo, her face without makeup, looked to be in her thirties.
He had to find out if she was just a pawn or if she was working with Soobin.
His instincts told him it was the latter.
“Kwak Seonyeong.”
He stared at her face, which looked vaguely familiar.
“What are you doing?”
Woohyeok quickly closed the file and turned around at the sound of Soobin’s voice.
“A business call. Why aren’t you in the tub?”
“It was too quiet. I’m hungry.”
“It should be here soon.”
Woohyeok glanced at his watch and walked toward Soobin, his gaze lingering on her bare neck, exposed outside the bathrobe.
He traced one of the darker marks with his thumb.
“It’s quite conspicuous.”
Soobin pulled away slightly, her hand moving to the spot where his touch still lingered.
“So what? We’re together, so there’s no need to hide it. Besides…”
This time, Soobin reached out and lifted Woohyeok’s jaw slightly.
“I’m not the only one.”
Seeing the mark she had left with her own eyes, Soobin smiled with a satisfied expression.
