Her head pounded. It was only natural, after drinking heavily at the club until two in the morning.

The bill quickly exceeded ten million won1, but Shin Haeri swiped her card without a second thought.

As if drawn by the scent of money, a lanky guy approached her.

    “How old are you?”

    “Twenty-three.”

    “Young.”

“Women like younger men, don’t they? No?”

His youthful looks weren’t exactly her type, but she figured he wouldn’t be bad for a one-night stand. Shin Haeri beckoned him to follow her. Honestly, she was curious about what it would be like with such a naive young man.

In a hotel suite, two naked figures were entangled on the bed. Expensive handbags and shoes lay scattered on the marble floor, but neither of them cared.

    “Ah, Miss.”

The man let out a series of groans. He looked troubled, as if he couldn’t handle Shin Haeri, who was bouncing on his lap.

    “Miss, a little slower…”

    “Shut up.”

Shin Haeri curtly cut him off and swallowed his words with a kiss. Wet flesh pressed together lewdly between their parted lips. The man continued his movements, trying to satisfy her, but Shin Haeri’s mind was elsewhere.

“I want to stop seeing each other, starting today.”

The farewell, delivered to a woman she had been sleeping with for three years, was so blunt that she felt a pang of regret for the first time in her life. She had never felt the need to cling to a man before, but she wanted to hold onto Cha Minjun.

“Ah, ugh. Miss, I think I’m going to…”

    “Hold it.”

At her commanding words, the man’s shoulders trembled. But only for a moment. He continued, revealing cute dimples.

“Miss, I can get it up again right away. Let’s do it again after this, okay?”

Despite his pleas, Shin Haeri remained silent, focused only on the act. The man’s expression changed constantly as she moved her curvy hips.

Watching his pathetic display, Shin Haeri thought of Cha Minjun again. After being dominated by Cha Minjun for three years, she couldn’t get used to being with this kid.

“My long-time partner… is getting married soon.”

“Haa, Miss. Why are you talking about another guy while we’re doing this? Don’t.”

Whether she didn’t hear him or simply didn’t care, Shin Haeri continued. It didn’t even seem like she was talking to him.

“That girl is the same age as you, you know? Twenty-three.”

“Wow, marrying a twenty-three-year-old…? That bastard is a cradle robber2…”

As if overwhelmed by a sudden urge frustration, the man barely managed to speak and bit his lip.

“Now that I’ve slept with a young guy like you, I know for sure. It’s really not that great. Does he feel like this when he sleeps with that young girl? Will he finally think of me then?”

“Eh… All men are perverts, so they go crazy for inexperienced women, right? It fuels their desire to conquer. But, ugh, I like you more, Miss. I prefer experienced women, huh!”

Unable to finish his sentence, the man let out a small moan and released everything inside her. While he was still lying and panting from the afterglow, Shin Haeri got up as if nothing had happened and headed to the shower.

“Damn. I usually last longer than this…”

Left alone on the bed, the man scratched his head, embarrassed. It was strange. Even though he had used protection, he couldn’t control himself. He wasn’t a high school student with no sexual experience. This was beyond embarrassing.

“Maybe it’s because Noona is so sexy?”

The man’s lips curled into a pleased smile. He’d had countless one-night stands with women from the clubs, but few were as rich and beautiful as Shin Haeri.

“And your hip movements are art. A total unicorn.”

He chuckled, thinking he might have hit the jackpot.

A while later, Shin Haeri emerged from the shower, wearing a dressing gown and an electronic cigarette in her mouth. The man, as if waiting for her, began massaging her shoulders.

“Miss, I can really go again right away. The first time was practice! I can do better the second time.”

    “No thanks.”

“…Then let me dry your hair.”

Fortunately, she didn’t refuse this offer. He picked up the hairdryer and carefully dried her damp hair, strand by strand. He had briefly learned hairdressing in high school, so he was quite skilled.

“You’re beautiful even without makeup, Miss.”

    “Cut the cheesy talk.”

“Miss, are you really a chaebol? The way you flexed with the bill earlier was insane.”

    “I’m credit-delinquent.”

“Whoa. What happened? Do you do drugs like other chaebols?”

Shin Haeri puffed on her electronic cigarette, looking annoyed. She’d thought he was just bad in bed, but it turned out this kid had another flaw: he talked too much.

“There was a big incident a few days ago, with the police raiding a Cheongdam club. People were doing drugs in the rooms, causing chaos. They said it was Titan or something, some new drug popular among the fourth-generation chaebols. I’ve only heard of cocaine; I guess there are tons of different drugs.”

“So, what? Are you asking me to buy you some Titan or whatever?”

“Are you crazy? I may look like a thug, but I go to church with my mom on weekends. I don’t associate with drug addicts. It’s the fastest way to ruin your life.”

The man shook his head exaggeratedly, as if disgusted.

Shin Haeri, who had been watching him with disdain through the mirror, stood up as if to tell him to stop. She reached for her bag on the floor.

    “What’s… this?”

What she handed him was a check. A large one.

“Your payment. You were terrible, but I’ll pay you what I owe you.”

“That’s harsh. You’re treating me like a prostitute?”

Despite his pout, he readily accepted the check. He might have been offended, but money was money.

“Miss, my name is Hansol. Han is the family name, Sol is the given name.”

“That’s the same name as my friend’s dog.”

Shin Haeri, who had been expressionless, finally laughed.

“Wow, you’re really taking the teasing too far, Miss. Well, fine. Treat me like a prostitute or a dog, whatever,  just call me again if you need me.”

    “I doubt we’ll meet again.”

“You never know. Tell me your name next time, okay?”

The man, having gathered his scattered clothes, winked at Shin Haeri and left the room. He had satisfied his lust and received a hefty payment, so he had no regrets.

Shin Haeri gazed at the Seoul nightscape sprawling beyond the large window. It was a breathtaking view, but for her, it was a commonplace sight she had seen countless times.

“I wonder if Cha Minjun slept with that girl.”

“If that were the case, he’d have been dissatisfied with her and come crawling back to me by now. Unfortunately, there had been no news from him.”

“Should I just crash the wedding?”

Shin Haeri clicked her tongue, a sullen look on her face.
