CRS | Chapter 3.1
by NimNim 🌧️Crash―!
Sounds you wouldn’t expect from a bridal chamber kept echoing. Breaking, tearing, shattering noises. Outside, Chief Eunuch Jeon was sweating bullets. What on earth was happening inside?
“Uh, Chief Eunuch Jeon… shouldn’t we, uh, go in and check…?”
Court Lady Ye trembled as she spoke, and Chief Eunuch Jeon swallowed hard. He wanted to, but going in there could be a death sentence. Not just one, but two people who had roamed battlefields were in there!
“If His Majesty gets hurt…”
Tears welled up in Court Lady Ye’s eyes. Chief Eunuch Jeon, sweating profusely, patted her shoulder to comfort her.
“Court Lady Ye, I believe that at least His Majesty won’t get hurt. Our Majesty isn’t just anyone, right? Do you still see him as, uh, like a child?”
He was babbling to avoid going in, but Chief Eunuch Jeon did his best. He wanted to go in but didn’t want to. Still, he couldn’t help but worry, and his eyes began to tremble like a leaf.

The Grand King wore thin silk shoes indoors, as befitting someone of his status. However, Seo Hwi, a concubine, couldn’t dare wear shoes on the first night. Concubines belonged to the Grand King, and there was no need for shoes when in his embrace. Despite this humiliating reason, Seo Hwi didn’t mind at all. He walked around the room as if nothing was wrong, whether there were broken porcelain pieces or glass shards underfoot. The Grand King’s face turned pale as he watched him.
“You disgusting creature.”
Seo Hwi knew why such harsh words were directed at him and simply tilted his head indifferently. It was probably because he showed no expression even in this situation, as if he felt no pain, which must have been unsettling.
Seo Hwi’s body was already bruised and scratched, all caused by the Grand King. Blood flowed from torn wounds, and Seo Hwi, with an annoyed expression, took off his thin jacket. His exposed white skin was covered with scars, most of which were made by Yoongeon, both in the past and now.
“Your Majesty, it’s the guards. May we come in?”
While looking at the blood flowing from his feet, an unwelcome voice came from outside. It was the voice of those struggling to protect their Grand King. Seo Hwi crossed his arms and looked at him, sensing the inevitable end and the final judgment approaching.
“It’s over now.”
Seo Hwi’s face showed no expression.
“I think the first night went well.”
“Hah, what are you talking about?”
“I couldn’t become a kind husband.”
The sarcastic words were genuine, without a hint of falsehood. Since he couldn’t win, he intended to at least wound that great pride. There was never a way for him to defeat the Grand King, just as it had been before.
“Don’t come in! No one dares enter my chamber during the first night!”
At that moment, Yoongeon reacted unexpectedly.
“Your Majesty! Aren’t you in danger? Please let us in! Grant us permission!”
“I’m not in danger! I’m not a man who falls easily! Don’t disgrace me further!”
He shouted, veins bulging on his forehead, clearly furious. There was no falsehood in his words. The Grand King didn’t want help from others.
“Your Majesty!”
“Surprising. Why don’t you call them?”
Seo Hwi, who thought it was the end, asked. His face showed a hint of regret he couldn’t hide. The Grand King, Yoongeon, looked at him with suspicion.
“I don’t know what it is, but it seems like you’re causing this situation, so I don’t want to comply.”
“…Ha.”
His intuition was annoyingly sharp. Seo Hwi swallowed his dissatisfaction. He was right. Seo Hwi wanted to create an unavoidable situation to end his life. Even though he could willingly do it alone, his body wouldn’t allow it, so he wanted to borrow the Grand King’s hand.
At that moment, the Grand King, seemingly at his wit’s end, grabbed Seo Hwi by the collar and threw him. It happened so quickly that Seo Hwi only realized he was sprawled on the bed after falling.
“I had no intention of killing you. At least not today.”
“Ugh!”
Yoongeon climbed on top of him and grabbed his neck. Seo Hwi, who tried to get up, hit his head on the floor due to the sudden force, and his vision went black.
The Grand King didn’t miss the moment and grabbed Seo Hwi’s hair, slapping his cheek. It wasn’t a mere slap but a brutal sound of something solid hitting. Seo Hwi’s face couldn’t even turn properly due to the firm grip.
The Grand King slapped his cheek several times. Despite hitting his head hard and being unable to defend himself properly, it was truly merciless violence. Each time he was hit, red marks appeared on Seo Hwi’s face, and blood flowed from his delicate lips. However, neither the one hitting nor the one being hit felt any pity.
“You’re holding up well.”
Yoongeon looked down at Seo Hwi, who was swallowing his cries, and mocked him.
“Not making a sound means you have some guts. I’ll commend you.”
His eyes were those of a predator looking at prey, nothing more, nothing less.
Even with a man of equal stature beneath him, the Grand King didn’t hesitate to use force. It stemmed from the arrogance of believing he was stronger than his opponent.
“You’re the first not to cry under me.”
“…….”
“Are you refusing to answer? Who do you think you’re keeping your mouth shut in front of?”
He wasn’t a generous king who tolerated insolent servants. Yoongeon slapped Seo Hwi’s cheek again, who defiantly kept his mouth shut. Seo Hwi glared at him, letting out a groan at the unexpected violence.
“Before I kill you, I’ll fix that insolent attitude.”
“Ha…!”
At the Grand King’s words, Seo Hwi let out a hollow laugh. No matter how many times he slapped his cheek, what the man wanted would never be achieved. Well, unless he planned to use his corpse as a warning.
‘Does he dare think he can open me up?’
He had no such intention. It would be him, not Seo Hwi, who would spread his legs and moan. Seo Hwi was a man who had never been overpowered by anyone. Even the Grand King Yoongeon, who was glaring at him from above, would be overpowered if they fought with strength.
Seo Hwi laughed. It was a clear sneer.
“You think you can open my legs.”
“Yes, I’m not the one to tolerate your shameless behavior.”
“Do you think you can do it now?”
“What? Ugh!”
Foolishly. Yoongeon, who had fought many battles, was caught off guard. Seo Hwi grabbed his collar and got up. Yoongeon, who was pushed back in a sitting position, fell helplessly onto the bed.
Yoongeon, who couldn’t react properly and flailed his legs madly, was annoying. Seo Hwi frowned and tore his clothes with his teeth, tying his arms and flipping Yoongeon’s body over. The resistance was so fierce that the thin red silk covering the bed was torn, and a bruise was already forming on his kicked side.
“This is your doing. You didn’t kill me and left me in the concubine’s palace, and now you’re facing this.”
Seo Hwi deliberately referred to himself as the king and belittled Yoongeon. Yoongeon fell for the ridiculous provocation and shouted.
“If you don’t want to die, you’d better let go now!”
“That’s quite an amusing thing to say.”
If he didn’t want to die, he wouldn’t have done such insolent things in the first place. Seo Hwi, who feared nothing, whispered in his ear.
“Don’t you understand yet? That’s exactly what I want.”
He pulled down Yoongeon’s pants, which were barely hanging on. Yoongeon twisted his body wildly, unable to overcome Seo Hwi’s strength.
“Telling you to stay still won’t work.”
Still holding the Grand King’s neck, Seo Hwi stroked his own member a few times. Having abstained for a long time, it quickly stood up with just a few stimuli. He hated his instinctive reaction but endured it.
“You dare… Ah, ugh!”
