Antisocial Chapter 25
by biniChapter 25. Human
Do-kyung hugged Bo-yeon tightly and his eyes, flushed with excitement, trembled slightly. The pungent semen flowed out. Her body grew sluggish and her mind became exhausted. He thrusted fiercely inside such that his penis enter deeper in her.
“Wuhhk, nhhg….”
Bo-yeon, who was in his arms, began to sob from the deep penetration that made her suffocate. Do-kyung pressed her lips gently as if to soothe her. Bo-yeon, whose eyes were red and swollen, looked at him.
Their gazes met quietly.
***
A small marsupial called the Tasmanian devil resides in Australia. Though it appears cute, like a small bear, its name—‘devil’—is fitting, as it is a ferocious and vicious fighter.
These creatures even fight during mating. When a male finds a female in heat, he bites the scruff of her neck and drags her to his den. He then acts as a gatekeeper, preventing the female from leaving for a few days while mating. Meanwhile, the female continuously tests the male, rushing at him to determine whether he is strong enough to be her mate.
During mating, the male bites the nape of the female’s neck. These fighters are ruthless beasts that will mate with the weaker females.
Whenever Bo-yeon experienced Do-kyung’s ruthless, animalistic ways—ways that offered no mercy—she thought of these fighters. He may not have bitten her, but he tormented her to the point of madness to satisfy his desires.
However, since he was a human, a social animal, he did not abandon his partner after mating, but took care of her.
“Are you sleepy?”
“Yes….”
He liked to sleep while hugging Bo-yeon, who had been washed. Maybe he liked the feeling of skin touching each other, hence, Bo-yeon would unconsciously burrow into his warm embrace while sleeping.
Essentially, people had no choice but to show affection to those they encountered frequently. If it were a physical relationship that involved an increased heart rate and the exchange of pleasure, wouldn’t that be even more true?
When Bo-yeon was in Do-kyung’s arms, exhausted and drained, the word ‘body’ would linger in her thoughts. As long as she was alive, she was acutely aware of her heartbeat, constantly pounding.
“Uhm…”
Bo-yeon opened her eyes and looked at him, immediately locking gazes with Do-kyung, who had been watching her, waiting for her to fall asleep.
“Aren’t you going to sleep?”
It would be better to rest early, especially with tomorrow in mind, but Bo-yeon had something she wanted to ask.
“Aren’t you looking for your family, oppa…?”
“I’m not looking for them.”
The expressionless face showed no emotion.
“Ah…”
She couldn’t ask if his family was already infected or if they were not on good terms. Her heart sank at the indifferent face that seemed to show no interest in his family’s well-being.
“Why are you curious about that?”
“You said you would help me find my family… I was so happy and thankful back then. I also wished you could find yours….”
A careless question lingered on Do-kyung’s face.
“What can you do?”
She wasn’t wrong. Even if Do-kyung wanted to find his family, Bo-yeon couldn’t do it like he did.
“Ah… I know it won’t be much help, but still, I feel bad about it…”
Bo-yeon whispered sullenly, feeling discouraged.
“Why are you looking for them?”
“Why am I looking for my family…? Of course, because they are my family.”
This time, Bo-yeon’s face was filled with doubt. Why am I looking for my family?
“If you find them?”
“I would be so grateful and happy… I just wish they were alive.”
Do-kyung’s face became cold. It was so cold that anyone who saw it would feel hurt. Bo-yeon’s answer seemed petty and funny.
“You’ll live together?”
“……?”
Of course, if she finds them, shouldn’t they live together? Do-kyung laughed at Bo-yeon’s bewildered face and asked.
“Where are they going to live?”
“……”
His cold eyes could never answer, “bunker.” Only then did Bo-yeon realize that the bunker where she was supposed to live with her family had been plundered by him.
“Can I bring them here?”
“……”
Even if she does find them, how could Bo-yeon bring them here alone? It would be impossible without his help.
‘Should I look for your family?’
He clearly said that. He didn’t say anything about bringing them or helping them. Bo-yeon hesitated, not knowing what to say.
“Why are you acting so stupid? You’re smarter than this.”
The cold gaze made her breath catch in her throat. The harsh words stabbed Bo-yeon’s heart like thorns. Her large eyes trembled with sorrow.
Bo-yeon had to remain calm as she calculated, still in the arms of the cold man who had just embraced her so passionately.
What should she do if she finds her family?
“If I find them, can you take us to a nearby refugee camp…? Please…. Please help me…”
“Me?”
Do-kyung asked as if testing her, expecting one of two responses from Bo-yeon.
Maybe she would say something foolish, like asking to be sent to her family.
“Can’t we all go together?”
But Bo-yeon’s response was beyond his expectations.
“Hah.”
When Do-kyung was left dumbfounded, Bo-yeon tried to persuade him.
“You don’t want to go to the refugee camp? Are you afraid that if they find out you’re immune, they’ll experiment on you like they said? But you don’t have any bite marks. You might not get caught, right? Oh… they’ll check your health, won’t they? It’s an infectious disease… Will you get caught if they do a blood test?”
Bo-yeon remained hopeful for a moment, but soon her optimism faded.
“Then, just send my family… And when the world gets better, they can come with me.”
“How can you do that, leaving your wonderful family behind?”
“You told me to be smart…”
Bo-yeon couldn’t know exactly what Do-kyung was thinking, but from what she had learned so far, he didn’t help people without a reason.
From his perspective, he was helping her out while enduring the hassle, but would he be happy if Bo-yeon left? Bo-yeon didn’t think so.
“You’re smart.”
“……”
She had hoped, and it was true.
“I don’t know if what those people said about being immune and being experimented on is true. But if it is, it’s too dangerous. And I was so lonely after being alone for three months… I found my family, and it would be ungrateful to leave you, someone who is immune, behind. So I can’t do that…”
At her words, Do-kyung’s eyebrows shot up in surprise.
Bo-yeon was worried that Do-kyung, being immune, would be in danger if he went to the refugee camp. From her perspective, it wasn’t that Do-kyung wasn’t going—it was that he couldn’t go.
If she found her family with Do-kyung’s help, he would be Bo-yeon’s benefactor. She couldn’t bring herself to leave someone like that behind.
Bo-yeon saw Do-kyung as just an individual in society. She worried about him—an immune person—as a persecuted minority or someone socially disadvantaged.
“But what kind of people would do such a thing? If possible, I should find out more. If the government is conducting biological experiments like those people say… In fact, even the refugee camp wouldn’t be safe. But if it has nothing to do with the government, you could consider going in together.”
“Why do you insist on going there?”
“Even if the refugee camp environment is poor, it’s still better than a place overrun with zombies. Usually…”
Bo-yeon glanced at Do-kyung, who was managing well even in an environment overrun with zombies, and added,
“What if we all perish together?”
“Of course, the refugee camp could be attacked by zombies. But it’s dangerous anywhere, and above all, people have to live in society.”
“Society.”
Do-kyung repeated Bo-yeon’s words, mocking her sharply.
“Humans can’t live alone. They need to constantly prove and confirm their own identity by interacting with others.”
Bo-yeon clenched her fists, her desperation clear.
“Besides, if human society perishes… wouldn’t everyone die, regardless of whether they’re humans or zombies? Nuclear power plants will explode all over the world, covering the entire planet with radiation, and satellites will fall to the Earth. Because of global warming, disasters like forest fires will be severe, and there will be no one to clean up the mess. The ecosystem will be in shambles.”
“…….“
But Do-kyung showed no reaction, leaving Bo-yeon feeling embarrassed. How had she ended up saying all of that? She awkwardly licked her lips and slowly unclenched her fist.
“My head isn’t as complicated as yours. It’s simple.”
Do-kyung tapped her temple.
“I like you. Including your obedient personality.”
“……”
A person who isn’t even a dog can be obedient. Bo-yeon didn’t know how to react.
“I don’t just throw away something I decided to keep by my side because it’s a little annoying.”
“……”
“If it rebels, I have no choice but to take appropriate measures.”
“……”
Why did those words sound like “I have no choice but to moderately punish it” to Bo-yeon’s ears? Goosebumps ran down her spine as she stared blankly.
“Use your smart head to make a good judgment.”
A large hand, one that seemed capable of crushing a human skull, wrapped around Bo-yeon’s round head. She felt an eerie sense of pressure from the hand stroking her head, as if she were nothing more than a dog.
“What can you do?”
“……”
“What can I do for you.”
“……”
What Moon Bo-yeon can do and what Joo Do-kyung can do.
In the current situation, the difference between the two was extremely large.
“Don’t even think about running away. Don’t even think about rebelling. If you get caught, you won’t last a day even if I treat you gently.”
“……”
His voice was dry, as if he was just reciting facts. Bo-yeon didn’t want to know what he was going to do if she got caught.
