99th Actress Chapter 9
by biniChapter 9. A Fever
As she wiped his face with a cloth, the blanket that came up to his neck looked very frustrating.
Reflecting that, Lian slipped down the blanket.
‘It’s a job. I’m a professional.’
His exposed upper body was literally like a sculpture. She could tell when he put on the clothes, but it was different from what she saw in person.
His thick forearms, rising chest muscles and his abdomen. It was free of any fat, and his six-pack was clearly visible. Moreover, the bulging veins were pulsating vividly before her eyes.
‘I guess you’re really the Sword Master….’
Without realizing it, she was about to swallow her saliva. Feeling as if she had become a true pervert, Lian whipped around several times. Squeezing the wet towel, she slowly began to wipe Lepierre’s body.
‘It’s a rock, it’s a rock..….’
Narrowing her eyes in shame, Lian meticulously wiped not only his shoulders, arms, and his stomach, where his six-pack was clearly visible. As it was her first time seeing a man’s body, she felt embarrassed. However, she did her job with her professionalism.
Finally, it was time to wipe down the broad chest. Lepierre groaned and shuddered as the wet towel had provoked his bumps.
“Hmmh…….”
Lian, who was surprised, quickly removed the towel and controlled her twitching heart. As she was done with his upper body, she took a deep breath before pulling the blanket to clean his lower body. Despite covering her eyes, she peeked.
His object, proudly soaring into the sky, seemed bigger and harder than anything. At first glance, it looked much thicker than Lian’s forearm.
Lian’s heart throbbed as if it were a weapon with hideous veins popping up. Lian’s face turned bright red. Reminded of what happened in the morning once again, she ran out of the duke’s room as if she could hear the sound of her heart.
‘Oh my… Oh my… Oh my…! Why are you naked without any underwear….!’
As Lian scrubbed the bathroom, she barely managed to come to her senses from almost fainting from what she had just witnessed. She felt as if Lepierre’s unexpected habits had caused her to see things she could not see.
‘Why was there a setting that says he can’t get an erection… Something so big… hideous….’
At that moment, she was questioning where that setting was still valid or not. Regardless, she was shocked by a ferocious object she had never seen before. It was too big for it to be human.
She brushed the bathroom hard, scrubbing it like crazy. Lian, in a very complicated state of mind, wiped the bathroom floor harder to get rid of all the distracting thoughts in her head.
Lastly, she wiped the sink and bathtub with a soft sound, rinsed it off, and was about to take a shower.
Chhiiik.
As she was about to turn on the water, water spurted out from the shower hose. It probably was broken.
Taking the chance while she was wet, Lian even washed her face with cold water to get rid of impure thoughts. She felt a little calm. After washing her face, she looked in the mirror and saw the red marks that Lepierre had on the inside of her unbuttoned shirt. It was bright red above her collarbone, as if everything wasn’t a dream.
After rubbing that area with her finger, Lian changed into extra clothes. As she finished cleaning her bathroom, she had the plans to roughly tie up the broken shower cord as a temporary measure and fix it later.
At that time, Lepierre had come to his senses for a moment when she returned alone.
“Duke… Have some porridge.”
Lian, who had heated up the porridge, took a spoonful and put it in Lepiers’s mouth. She was feeding it with an awkward expression, but his thick lips were close-up, reminding her of what happened in the morning.
‘With those lips.….’
She tried hard not to be conscious, but she couldn’t prevent her face from turning red.
In Lian’s imagination, the kiss was something more reverent, like a ritual that confirmed love.
But the reality was completely different. She felt obscene. Just thinking about it made her feel weird and her whole body trembled. And… it was sexier than she thought.
Lian had to shake off the thoughts. The man in question was the sick person in front of her. To think of such things….
Lepierre took a few more scoops of porridge, medicine, and fell asleep again. Lian’s expression on her face seemed to be more complicated than before.
***
Lepierre suffered from a severe fever at this time of year.
During his childhood, it was practically routine to witness the fighting duke and duchess every day. Meanwhile, Lepierre’s presence was nothing more or less an object of anger for the couple.
On that very day many years ago, the two were fighting each other, raising their voices.
“You’ve ruined my life!”
A woman with scattered hair, stained with tears, was resentful. To the point, she even resorted to throwing the fixtures in the room.
“You’re one to say… If it weren’t for my father, I wouldn’t have ever married a woman like you. Sure enough, you brought a blemish on a noble family by giving birth to a useless bastard…”
Lepierre’s father, Lionel Arden, may have outstanding abilities, but in reality, he was a very cowardly person. He was a man with a lot of sociopath tendencies who could use his family and children as tools for his own benefit.
He didn’t even hesitate to do harm to others, taking credit if it went well, and blaming others if it didn’t. Just like a typical aristocrat.
Hence, there was no way his uniquely arrogant and twisted pride would tolerate Lepierre’s existence. The only stain on Jane’s life was that man and the child she gave birth to.
Bang!
At the loud sound they heard for a moment, the couple paused their fight and looked back at the place where the sound came from. The Duke and Duchess’ fight was shattered by force.
At the place where the door was broken, Lepierre was standing with bloodshot eyes. He looked like a young boy who had not yet grown up, but his natural physical strength was so great that he could easily overwhelm the couple.
His mood was unusual. In his hand was the famous sword Blissade, which had been given to him by the emperor not long ago.
His sword, which had recently received the title of Sword Master, was imbued with blue magic and buzzed, emitting an unusual energy.
Lepierre walked slowly into the Duke and Duchess with an insensitive face.
“What… What is it…? Lepierre, what is this about?”
Naturally unhappy with his undesirable son, the duke scolded Lepierre for his arrogance.
“Father, mother, it’s late at night, but you’re full of energy…. Why did you give birth to me in the first place? If I hadn’t been here, you two wouldn’t have been so unhappy.”
“You can’t do that right now!”
The Duchess, who was crying, harshly criticized Lepierre.
“If the two of you had never met, I, the seed of unhappiness would not have been born. Will you really regret it in the afterlife…? Starting today, I will put an end to this terrible relationship between you two.”
“What… Well..…? Lepierre! Get out of here…….”
At the end of that, the Duke and his wife could no longer argue together. Blissade, filled with blue magic, flashed, leaving behind a large trace. The screams and groans echoed throughout the hallway.
Thus, the Duke and his wife died, and from that day on Lepierre became ‘The Duke, Lepierre Arden’.
