FLBE Chapter 2 Part 8
by SYLPH“Fine. I apologize. Satisfied now?”
“Huh? Oh, no, wait. Besides that apology…”
“I, the Emperor of this Empire, have apologized according to your petty demands. Is there anything left to ask?”
“W-Well… I mean…”
“No more requests then, if you really wish to live.”
“!”
Damn it. Failing to maintain her poker face in such a crucial negotiation was as good as losing that negotiation. It was too late to undo it now. Regretfully, she lowered her head.
What a pathetic situation to be in! How did I let this opportunity slip away!
Watching her clench her fist tightly, Rhetrik raised the corner of his mouth. He wore an expression of someone trying to suppress a smile.
Having granted her every wish, it was now his turn to collect what was owed to him. Who would’ve thought he’d be apologizing to an Omega after putting in so much effort to appease her? It was something he never even imagined in his life, especially since “apology” was a foreign word to him since birth.
“Then let’s call our delightful meal over.”
“Huh? Oh, okay.”
Suddenly looking up, Liena’s shoulders flinched. Rhetrik’s gaze was intense. She felt as if she’d fallen into a trap he had set. And her ominous premonition soon became a reality.
“Come with me.”
“Huh? Ah!”
Just like she came, Liena was taken by the man’s hand and dragged away. Without even a moment to marvel at the vast palace, she followed Rhetrik, only catching glimpses of his back.
He was so tall that for every step he took, she had to run two or three. If that wasn’t enough, his pace was urgent. It would have been nice if he’d walked a bit slower. But the man had not an ounce of consideration.
“Everyone, leave!”
At Rhetrik’s commanding voice, the heads that were bowing disappeared in an instant. She thought they were headed to a room, but upon looking around, they were standing in the middle of an indoor garden. The ceiling had a large dome slightly open, showing a clear sky. The dense trees filled the air with the scent of a lush forest, making it ambiguous whether they were indoors or outdoors.
Before she could appreciate the beautiful scene, she found herself pressed against the wall. She was then aggressively kissed by Rhetrik, leaving her completely defenseless. She tried to push him off, but his body was as solid as rock and didn’t budge.
“Stay still. I’ve told you over and over that you are my exclusive omega. Your sole purpose is to be ready for me whenever I want. You should’ve expected at least this much when you dared to threaten me.”
She clenched her mouth shut in defiance, but he growled at her madly.
“You’ve received an emperor’s apology and even saved your life. Now, I’ll take the price for that precious life. So, open your mouth obediently, if you don’t want to get hurt.”
“Ah! Mmph!”
Unlike in the dining hall, the man’s kiss was fierce and violent, stealing her breath away. In no time, Liena’s hands were held up by the man’s grip, and his other hand was busy wandering over her richly adorned dress.
Saliva mixed, and her mind gradually grew hazy from the pressure of his tongue reaching down her throat. His scent seemed even more powerful than before, almost paralyzing her mind. Soon, her struggling movements eased as their tongues entangled and his violent actions turned slightly softer.
Releasing her hands, Rhetrik pulled her close from her waist, starting to undo her dress straps. Frustrated by some obstacle, his large hands fiercely tore the dress apart.
Tattered and torn, the once pristine white dress lost its beauty and fell to the ground at her feet. There was nothing stopping him now. Even the thin negligee was stained by the man’s saliva, and Liena could only let out pitiful moans.
Rhetrik caressed Liena’s back and waist. He grabbed her hips tightly and then pulled her close, pressing her entire body against his. His excited member pressed against her softness down below. What was he so excited about? Was he feeling elation over apologizing?
She had dug her own grave, and now Liena had to brace herself. She consoled herself that it wasn’t such a bad outcome. After all, this mad emperor had listened to her demands. It wasn’t a completely desperate situation. She couldn’t exploit this often, but she believed that another opportunity would come someday.
When Liena gasped for air and abruptly turned her head, Rhetrik’s eyes flashed menacingly. His eyes looked as if they weren’t in their right mind, just like the alphas he had mentioned earlier. As if he had decided on something, he didn’t hide his boiling lust. Rather, it seemed to spew out more.
“Your Majesty… Please… be gentle…”
“…Damn it! I can’t control myself around you.”
“Ah.”
“So don’t resist. If you don’t, I won’t hurt you.”
“Haah!”
Although he rubbed his lips over her negligee, she could feel his hot breath directly because of the almost non-existent fabric. Her nip*les became erect, becoming more sensitive as they brushed against her clothes. Everywhere his lips touched the place burned like it was on fire.
How fiercely he sucked through the cloth that her red nip*le showed through. Rhetrik’s dark eyes flared again at the sight of her flushed, exposed skin.
The woman who used to talk back at him was now trembling, and Rhetrik seemed intoxicated by this feeling of elation. Right, he’s turned back into a carnivore, and just like a wild beast, he might devour her in one bite.
Just as the beast, lost in his lust, opened his mouth to savor his prey, a harsh voice interrupted.
“Your Majesty, I understand you’re busy, but you must attend to me first.”
Startled by the unfamiliar voice, Liena quickly crouched down. Fortunately, she was hidden behind Rhetrik’s large figure, but she couldn’t risk being seen like this by anyone else.
Luckily, at that moment, Rhetrik removed the cloak he was wearing and draped it over Liena’s head. A strange sense of deja vu hit her. She had been trapped under this cloak the first time she met him. But this time, there was a sense of relief. Whether then or now, this cloak had always been like a protective barrier for her.
Who could it be…? Someone audacious enough to stop Rhetrik.
