Character Introduction: 

Cha Juwon (Top): A man who lived a promiscuous life, undergoing a vasectomy at twenty. He’s indifferent, caring only about work and sex. When a young son suddenly appears, he takes responsibility out of duty, only to realize years later a peculiar form of paternal love.

Cha Dongha (Bottom): A quiet, overly perceptive child who wasn’t very childlike. Lacking in aegyo (cuteness) but highly intelligent and neat. At twelve, following his mother’s dying wish, he seeks out his biological father, only to fall into a deep, unrequited love.

The barely opened eyes squeezed shut again. Tears welled up, soaking the long lashes. Pitiful, heart-wrenching, and maddeningly beautiful. Like a beast tending to its young, Juwon licked the tears from Dongha’s eyes. Dongha’s back trembled in his embrace.

“You decide. Whether we keep doing this or not.”

“…What?”

“If you don’t want it, I won’t touch you. We’ll pretend it never happened. Last night was nothing, and nothing will happen moving forward. We’ll live like before.”
