However, because of the side effects from Ji-ha’s ability, a strange energy takes root within Yoo Sung-woo’s body. In the end, Ji-ha, backed into a corner, agrees to stay by Yoo Sung-woo’s side until the side effects are resolved.

To keep Ji-ha close, Yoo Sung-woo forcibly appoints him as his “Stabilizer Unit” partner—a position meant to assist Disaster Hunters. But in truth, the role of a Stabilizer is far more intimate and secretive than Ji-ha imagined, involving physical contact to support the hunter’s recovery.

Confused by the envy and rumors whispered among agency staff, Ji-ha keeps searching for a way to escape Yoo Sung-woo’s grasp. But as a strange pattern begins to emerge among the increasingly frequent disasters, Ji-ha finds himself drawn ever deeper into the mystery—and into Yoo Sung-woo’s world…
