Just as he was finishing lunch, the manager contacted him. He said there was something he needed to check at the office. Jaeyoon, who had hoped to spend the whole day with Kangyoon, couldn’t hide his disappointment. When Jaeyoon said he would come to Kangyoon’s recording studio after finishing his business at the office, Kangyoon told him there was no need and to just go home early, then sent him off.

Kangyoon, who had taken Jaeyoon to the office, watched him enter the building before taking out his phone. Han Seongjun. He found Hanjun’s real name and pressed the call button. Although he hadn’t blocked or deleted the number, he hadn’t used it for years. Fortunately, Hanjun hadn’t changed his number, and he soon answered the call.

    [What’s this? Mr. Lee Kangyoon.]

His tone was twisted from the first word.

    “Let’s meet for a moment.”

[Didn’t you say you had no more business with me?]

“I’ll send you the location by text, come out.”

[Do I have to come out just because you say so?]

Hanjun’s tone rose a notch, displeased with being ordered around.

    “I met Kang Hosu yesterday.”

At the mention of Kang Hosu’s name, it suddenly became quiet. Kang Hosu had been the leader of the backup dancer team during On&On’s activities and had been close with Hanjun for a long time. Even after Hanjun was kicked out of the agency, they kept in touch, and when Hanjun said he was starting a business, Kang Hosu, who had quit being a backup dancer, also invested. In other words, Kang Hosu was the closest confidant Hanjun trusted.

“You can probably guess why I want to meet.”

Kangyoon didn’t explain further. He hung up and sent the meeting location by message. Hanjun would probably call Kang Hosu right away to confirm why Kangyoon wanted to meet.

Yesterday, Kangyoon had heard Hanjun and Jaeyoon chatting at Jaeyoon’s commercial shoot and contacted Kang Hosu to meet him.

‘Han Seongjun, tell me what you’re plotting.’

When he asked abruptly, Kang Hosu frowned, saying it was nonsense.

‘If Jaeyoon gets hurt, I won’t stand still.’

At the mention of Jaeyoon’s name, Kang Hosu’s expression hardened slightly. He was one of the few people still in contact with Hanjun, so Kangyoon had come to see him just in case, and he was sure Kang Hosu knew something.

‘I can have you punished as an accomplice, not just Han Seongjun.’

    ‘What, what did I do?’

He tried to deny it, but his eyes were already darting around, unable to meet Kangyoon’s. Kang Hosu wasn’t as brazen as Hanjun. His emotions were written all over his face.

‘I know you helped with the incident four years ago.’

    ‘Four years ago…?’

He asked back with a dumbfounded expression, then a beat later, his face crumpled as if he remembered something.

‘I have CCTV footage. If an investigation starts, it will prove you’re involved.’

    ‘I, I don’t know anything about it!’

The moment he said he didn’t know, instead of saying nothing happened, it was already over. Kangyoon didn’t say a word about what it was. Nevertheless, Kang Hosu remembered something and denied it. He was clearly involved in the incident four years ago.

Kangyoon just stared at him without saying anything. The longer the silence, the more Kang Hosu’s eyes wavered.

‘The photo was taken by chance. I didn’t even know it was you and Jaeyoon! I never followed you on purpose or anything like that.’

Unable to withstand the pressure of Kangyoon’s gaze, Kang Hosu started babbling on his own. A photo… Kangyoon quietly sighed. He could roughly guess. Since there weren’t many days he went out with Jaeyoon, he could even guess when it was.

If Hanjun had blackmailed Jaeyoon with a photo that made Jaeyoon comply, it was obvious. It was probably when they parked the car at Hangang Park and kissed. It must have been then.

Jaeyoon was puzzled that he had complied with Hanjun’s blackmail over such a trivial photo, but he soon understood. Jaeyoon didn’t want to cause trouble for anyone. Perhaps because of his memories of being neglected by his parents, Jaeyoon had a strong compulsion not to be a burden to others.

A little trouble wouldn’t make him abandon Jaeyoon.

A sigh escaped him, but trauma isn’t something that can be easily changed. It was better to find a way to keep Jaeyoon from feeling anxious. Since he had decided to acknowledge his feelings and date Jaeyoon, he needed to be more certain. Otherwise, Jaeyoon would always be anxious even after they started dating.

After hugging Jaeyoon, he went to find Ray and the other members, took photos, and posted them on social media. It was the quickest way to neutralize the photos Hanjun had.

    🎥🎤

Ding. The cafe door opened with a cheerful bell sound. It was an odd time, so there weren’t many people in the cafe. He had deliberately chosen a quiet place for the meeting.

Hanjun, who had entered the cafe, looked around and spotted Kangyoon, then approached. He skipped the greeting and pulled out the chair opposite Kangyoon and sat down.

“What do you want to say?”

He must have already contacted Kang Hosu and heard that Kangyoon had visited and knew about the photos, but Hanjun showed no sign of it. He was also a seasoned veteran of the entertainment industry. Whether it was his own doing or someone else’s intention, he had seen enough of life’s bitterness. This brazenness might have stemmed from that.

“I’m here to get back what Jaeyoon gave you.”

At the quiet demand, Hanjun smirked.

    “What did he give me?”

    “Money.”

Without a moment’s hesitation, he answered, and Hanjun grinned as if he found it amusing.

“Let’s say he did. Why should I give it back to you?”

“I didn’t say to give it back to me. Give it back to Jaeyoon.”

“Why are you telling me to give back what he gave?”

At the questioning tone, Kangyoon silently stared at Hanjun. This guy wasn’t always such a mess. When they first met at the agency in their teens, he used to talk about his dreams with sparkling eyes to Kangyoon, who shared the common ground of ‘singing.’

Popularity brought arrogance, money made his attitude haughty, and jealousy destroyed his pride. Watching him slowly change over time, Kangyoon had felt sorry for not being able to do anything. He had turned a blind eye to what he did four years ago because he thought losing music, which was most precious to him, due to a drunk driving accident was punishment enough.

If that leniency turned into a knife that hurt Jaeyoon, he couldn’t ignore it any longer.

“Because you blackmailed him using me.”

If he had only blackmailed Jaeyoon, Jaeyoon probably wouldn’t have paid any attention. Since he was filming a gay movie anyway, he might have just brushed it off as noise marketing.

Jaeyoon, contrary to appearances, didn’t value himself much. That always made Kangyoon feel sorry and scold him. Even when he barged into his house and seemed to shamelessly stay, he would leave on his own if Kangyoon looked a little busy. He never did anything to bother Kangyoon.

“The only face clearly shown in the photo you have is probably mine.”

He hadn’t heard the specifics about the photo from Kang Hosu. But considering Yoon Jaeyoon’s personality, the answer was clear. Jaeyoon had given Hanjun money because the person in the photo wasn’t Jaeyoon but himself.

    “Ha!”

Hanjun let out a short breath and laughed.

“Then you shouldn’t be doing this even more.”

    “It doesn’t matter.”

At the words that it didn’t matter to him, Hanjun’s laughing face hardened.

“Sell it to the press, post it on social media, do whatever you want. No one will care about that photo anymore.”

As he added the explanation, Hanjun’s eyebrows furrowed.

    “What are you up to?”

At the question of what he was relying on, Kangyoon opened his phone and showed his social media. Starting with a photo of him lying down with Jaeyoon using his arm as a pillow, he scrolled through photos full of skinship with other members. Hanjun’s face grew increasingly sour as he looked through them.

    “Annoying bastard.”

Hanjun gritted his teeth and glared at Kangyoon. Then he smirked again.

“I don’t care about the photos anymore.”

It was as if he didn’t care since he had already received the money. Kangyoon quietly took a deep breath and looked straight at Hanjun. Seeing Hanjun meeting his gaze with a ‘what now’ expression, he didn’t even feel like sighing. He had been lenient out of old affection for a former member, but Hanjun was making him abandon even that last shred of recognition.

He put his phone down, closed the SNS app, and opened the gallery app. After playing a video, he placed it on the table, naturally drawing Hanjun’s attention.

As Hanjun watched the video out of curiosity, his face gradually turned cold. The video showed Hanjun from four years ago. In an empty practice room, Hanjun was putting something into a water bottle. After looking around, he put the water bottle into a bag labeled with Jaeyoon’s name.

“I know what you put in the water.”

Hanjun, blinking rapidly as if disturbed, bit his lip and glared at Kangyoon.

    “So what?”

“I can report it to the police even now.”

“Ridiculous. Nothing happened no matter what I put in the water. What are you going to report?”

Hanjun responded brazenly. This reaction was expected.

That day, what Hanjun put in Jaeyoon’s water bottle was a narcotic forced rut inducer. It was an illegal drug that stimulated hormones to induce rut or heat, whether alpha or omega.

Kangyoon, passing by the hallway by chance, saw Hanjun acting suspiciously. Since Hanjun had been ordered by the company to stay in the dorm and wait for a decision after a drunk driving and assault incident, it was strange to see him in the practice room. Watching him, Kangyoon saw him put something in Jaeyoon’s bag.

‘Damn it! Why is everyone only giving me a hard time! What did I do so wrong! Honestly, you all got this far thanks to me! Jaeyoon, that bastard, who does he owe his living to, just selling his face!’

The night before, when the agency notified him to wait for a decision, Hanjun had gone wild with excitement. His anger was directed at Jaeyoon, and even though Jaeyoon was insulted as just a face, he didn’t respond. Ray and Junie dragged Hanjun outside, and it was only after Ray hit him that Hanjun locked himself in his room.

Since Hanjun had always been displeased with Jaeyoon being more popular than him, it was clear he would vent his anger on Jaeyoon for his own mistakes. After Hanjun left the practice room, Kangyoon took out the water bottle Hanjun had put in Jaeyoon’s bag. Through an acquaintance, he analyzed the substance in the water and felt a deep human revulsion towards Hanjun. He couldn’t believe Hanjun would go so far to torment Jaeyoon.

Thanks to Kangyoon, the incident with the forced rut inducer passed without anyone knowing. Despite feeling revulsion towards Hanjun, he also felt pity, and above all, he thought publicizing the incident would hurt Jaeyoon, so he buried it.

Still, just in case, he secured the practice room CCTV footage and kept the records of the substance analysis, thinking Hanjun, who had been expelled from the agency, might do something else. He had no intention of publicizing it, as long as Hanjun didn’t touch Jaeyoon.

“Nothing happened because I discovered it first, but that doesn’t erase what you did. Distributing forced rut inducers is illegal. If investigated, records of you purchasing the drug at that time will probably be found somewhere.”

At the low explanation without any change in tone, Hanjun clenched his lips and glared at Kangyoon.

“Yoon Jaeyoon is a beta. Even if he drank it, nothing would have happened.”

The drug had little effect on betas. Kangyoon had thought similarly at the time. He was relieved that Jaeyoon was a beta, thinking that even if he hadn’t discovered it and Jaeyoon drank the water, nothing serious would have happened. So, he considered Hanjun’s act as just a mean prank.

But now, knowing Jaeyoon was an omega, the thought that something terrible could have happened four years ago sent chills down his spine.

“You often suspected Jaeyoon was an omega back then.”

Hanjun often grumbled about how a guy could look so pretty, wondering if he was an omega hiding it. He didn’t like that Jaeyoon was popular because of his face and wanted to belittle him, thinking his face was pretty because he was an omega, not a beta.

He hadn’t expected that suspicion to be true.

“It’s not important that Jaeyoon is a beta and nothing would have happened. The problem is that you distributed a drug that’s practically a narcotic.”

Seeing that Hanjun still didn’t understand, he emphasized it again.

“Three days. Return every penny you took from Jaeyoon within that time. If not…”

Kangyoon’s gaze shifted to the phone’s video screen.

I’ll take this to the police.

Even without saying it, his gaze conveyed his intention clearly enough, and he saw Hanjun lick his dry lips.

Having said what he needed to, he stood up. As he turned to leave without hesitation, Hanjun called out to him.

“What is Yoon Jaeyoon to you?”

Hanjun asked through gritted teeth. The question carried resentment, wondering what Yoon Jaeyoon was to make Kangyoon go so far as to threaten him.

“Are you two really that close?”

The vulgar expression made him frown.

“I don’t owe you an explanation about my relationship with Jaeyoon.”

Kangyoon looked down at Hanjun with cold eyes.

    “Han Seongjun.”

Even the tone of his voice calling Hanjun’s real name was icy.

“If you hadn’t betrayed me, no, us, I would have done the same for you. The one who changed isn’t me, it’s you.”

He meant it. To Kangyoon, Hanjun had been a precious colleague who shared the dream of loving music together. It was Hanjun who betrayed Kangyoon’s trust and faith in him.

As he stepped out of the cafe, a long-held sigh escaped him. His feelings were complicated. He didn’t want to go this far against someone he had shared meals with. But he couldn’t stand by and watch Jaeyoon get hurt and struggle.

“Really, you require a lot of attention.”

Even though he thought of Jaeyoon as a troublesome guy, something warm spread inside his chest when he thought of him. The image of Jaeyoon smiling and tempting him made him chuckle.

Bzzz. His phone vibrated as if on cue. It was a message from Jaeyoon.

    — I just left the office. It wasn’t a big deal and ended quickly. Can I come to the recording studio?

Jaeyoon seemed anxious since Kangyoon had told him to come home directly instead of the recording studio. As he was typing a reply saying there was no need and that he was heading home, a call came in. This time it was Ray.

[Lee Kangyoon! Did you touch Jaeyoon?]

The words came as soon as he pressed the call button, making him sigh deeply.

    🎥🎤

When Kangyoon arrived at Ray and Junie’s shared practice room, Gyuho was already there waiting.

“Thanks to Jaeyoon, we see each other often.”

Gyuho grinned as he spoke. Normally, it was hard to see him unless you dragged him out of the recording studio, but now they saw each other twice a day because of Jaeyoon.

“If you wake someone up at the crack of dawn and make them do something weird, you should at least explain.”

Ray shoved his phone with the SNS app open in Kangyoon’s face.

“What’s this photo? Did you mobilize all of us to cover this up?”

Ray pointed to a photo of Kangyoon giving a sleeping Jaeyoon an arm pillow.

“No. I just posted it along with other photos.”

    “And that?”

Junie, who had been listening quietly, frowned and caught the tail end of the conversation. The other members noticed something was up.

    “Hanjun extorted money from Jaeyoon.”

The members’ faces twisted simultaneously, wondering what this was about.

“Is that guy still living like that? I heard he started some video channel or something, so I thought he was at least trying to live earnestly…”

Gyuho trailed off, glancing at Kangyoon. He had heard by chance at the company last time that Hanjun had visited Kangyoon to get a song, and that Kangyoon had flatly refused.

“But what kind of photo was taken?”

Junie tilted his head. Jaeyoon, despite seeming easygoing, wasn’t someone who could be easily swayed. Even when Hanjun bullied him during their activities, he never flinched. It was puzzling that such a person had given money.

    “A photo of me kissing.”

    Ah… Ah…? What?!

The expressions of the members changed in three stages. Gyuho was shocked that there was a photo of Kangyoon kissing someone, while Junie shook his head in disbelief. Kangyoon, who was so clean in his private life that he seemed rigid, was someone who wouldn’t show any signs even if he had a lover. It was surprising that there was a photo of him kissing.

“But why did Jaeyoon pay to cover it up?”

Gyuho blinked and asked. Ray was squinting at Kangyoon.

    “You touched him, didn’t you?”

At Ray’s question, Junie and Gyuho looked back and forth between him and Kangyoon.

    “You touched Jaeyoon, didn’t you?”

When Kangyoon didn’t answer and just met his gaze, Ray asked again. At the specific question, Junie and Gyuho’s eyes widened.

    “No way.”

Gyuho waved his hand, saying it couldn’t be, but Junie looked as serious as Ray.

    “Yes.”

At the short answer, Gyuho’s jaw dropped. Ray frowned but only let out a long sigh.

    “So it finally happened.”

At Junie’s muttering, Gyuho cried out for someone to explain properly, feeling like he was the only one not following the situation.

“Jaeyoon was always obvious, but why suddenly you? You were a bit soft on him, but you didn’t have romantic feelings for him.”

Ray asked with a serious expression. Kangyoon was a bit surprised by that. It seemed Ray and Junie knew Jaeyoon had feelings for him. Was I the one who was clueless? He had just thought Jaeyoon followed him well as a member. He hadn’t felt that Jaeyoon’s actions towards him were any different from those towards other Hyungs.

Leaving the confused Gyuho alone, Ray and Junie exchanged serious glances.

    “Did you know?”

At the question with many words omitted, Gyuho made a fuss, asking what it was this time. Kangyoon quietly looked at Ray. Did you know. That was the question he wanted to ask Ray.

“How did you know, Hyung? Does Junie Hyung know too?”

The question was answered with another question, but Ray wasn’t flustered. He just frowned once, as if confirming his suspicion.

“I saw it by chance. The drugs in Jaeyoon’s jacket. I was going to take the laundry together.”

    Junie explained instead.

“Drugs? What drugs? This is driving me crazy.”

Gyuho was bewildered, but none of the three seemed willing to explain.

Kangyoon swallowed a bitter smile. Ray and Junie had known before him and had kept it hidden. He understood it was out of consideration from the Hyungs, but the fact that someone else knew more about Jaeyoon than he did made him feel down. He thought he knew Jaeyoon better than anyone, but it was arrogance. Knowing that even this bitterness was a possessive desire to be the closest to Jaeyoon made his feelings complicated.

“Did you touch him because you found out?”

Ray’s voice was low. Gyuho, thinking he seemed oddly angry, glanced at him.

    “No.”

When Kangyoon answered without hesitation, Ray’s tense face relaxed a bit.

“If you two like each other, there’s nothing to say.”

“But it still feels off. Like sending a daughter off to get married.”

Watching Ray mutter while scratching his chin made Kangyoon chuckle. Ray, Junie, and Gyuho all cared for Jaeyoon. That’s why they took photos with him without complaint, even when he visited early in the morning, saying it was for Jaeyoon.

“Wait, wait. Can you include me in this conversation?”

Gyuho, unable to stand it, interrupted.

“So, Kangyoon and Jaeyoon like each other?”

At Gyuho’s question, Ray frowned, asking what he had been listening to.

“Okay, got it. They were caught kissing, Hanjun blackmailed Jaeyoon with it, Jaeyoon gave him money, and Kangyoon posted photos with us to cover it up. I get that much.”

Gyuho, who seemed to have figured it out on his own, frowned again.

“But what did you find out about Jaeyoon? What did you realize from seeing the drugs…”

As if something dawned on him, Gyuho’s eyes widened as he looked at Kangyoon.

    “Suppressants?”

Kangyoon didn’t answer. Ray and Junie also said nothing, but Gyuho, taking their silence as confirmation, covered his mouth with one hand.

    “Jaeyoon is an omega?”

Suppressants are also taken by alphas, but Gyuho naturally asked if Jaeyoon was an omega. It was partly because of Jaeyoon’s delicate appearance, but also because in the fanfics they read together, Jaeyoon was always portrayed as an omega.

“Did you find out Jaeyoon was an omega and then make a move on him?”

Understanding Ray’s earlier question, Gyuho asked again in a more blunt manner, making Kangyoon sigh.

    “I already said no.”

Junie stepped in to answer, and Gyuho, scratching his head, finally nodded.

“Anyway, it’s true that I touched him.”

At the words confirming the truth, Kangyoon silently nodded. Although Jaeyoon was the one who initiated the kiss and sex, Kangyoon had no intention of explaining. Even if Jaeyoon had seduced him, if he hadn’t responded, he wouldn’t have agreed to the ridiculous excuse of being a practice partner. In the end, he accepted it because the laughable idea of being a practice partner for love was Jaeyoon.

He didn’t like the thought of Jaeyoon meeting someone else and acting cute and smiling in front of him.

“The traffic is terrible. What’s going on? Why is the atmosphere like this?”

Jaeyoon, who had just opened the practice room door, stepped back as all the members turned to look at him simultaneously.

“Ha, Yoon Jaeyoon. You’re finally going down that path.”

Gyuho nodded seriously at Jaeyoon and even gave him a thumbs up, saying it was the best.

“As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters.”

Junie said lightly and got up to get something to drink.

    “What’s going on?”

Jaeyoon, unable to follow the atmosphere, looked at Kangyoon. He mouthed, ‘Why are you like this?’ but Kangyoon just smiled faintly without any explanation.

“You’d look good in a wedding dress.”

At Ray’s murmur, Gyuho burst out laughing. Kangyoon also struggled to suppress a smile, his lips twitching.

“Wedding dress? Who’s getting married? Not Ray Hyung, right?”

Jaeyoon asked, blinking, and Ray shook his head and approached Jaeyoon, patting his shoulder.

“Kangyoon, that guy is clearly amazing… Eat more, Yoon Jaeyoon.”

    “Amazing…?”

At the sudden word, Jaeyoon’s gaze naturally turned to Kangyoon.

    “Uh…?”

Looking at Kangyoon, the events of the previous night unfolded in his mind like a panorama. His face flushed bright red.

“Ahh! Yoon Jaeyoon! Don’t show it! Don’t make me imagine it!”

Gyuho screamed in shock, causing Ray to burst out laughing. Kangyoon approached and gently ruffled Jaeyoon’s hair.

    “It’s okay. Nothing has changed.”

At Kangyoon’s words, Jaeyoon’s face turned even redder, as if it would burst if touched. Feeling sorry for showing his face, Kangyoon pulled him close with one hand and buried his face in his chest. Gyuho made a fuss about them showing their relationship, but Kangyoon had a smile on his lips.

Three days later, he returned to the movie set. Jaeyoon sat in the waiting room and took a deep breath. Under the robe, he was only wearing underwear. He had to reshoot the bed scene that was interrupted a few days ago. He closed his eyes and recalled the script. At the same time, he remembered the sex with Kangyoon. The sensation of his lips touching every part of his body, the intense pleasure when he entered him…

    Ah, this won’t work.

Thinking of Kangyoon made Jaeyoon’s insides ache. Trying to reflect his real love in his acting made him want to see Kangyoon right away. He felt like he would be a mess if he didn’t draw a clear line.

He had never struggled to separate work and personal life before… He felt embarrassed, realizing he was deeply immersed.

Knock, knock. At the sound of someone knocking on the waiting room door, he replied, “Yes.” One of the filming staff poked their head in.

    “We’re about to start filming.”

    “I’ll be right there.”

As he stood up, he felt lighter than during the previous filming. He had a feeling that today would go well.

    🎥🎤

    Aah…

Jaeyoon’s moans made the filming staff swallow nervously. Even though they knew he was a man and were aware they were filming, some staff members felt their blood rushing and gulped down cold water. It was completely different from three days ago. Even though it wasn’t real, Jaeyoon’s passionate appearance made it feel like they were witnessing someone else’s intimate moment.

    “Haemin.”

When Choi Sunghyun called Jaeyoon’s character name, wet eyes turned to his face.

Every time Jaeyoon’s lips moved, a sweet scent seemed to spread.

    “Give me more.”

The soft voice sent shivers down their spines. Choi Sunghyun reacted to that voice, swallowing a moan, and passionately covered Jaeyoon’s lips. Jaeyoon’s hands wrapped around Choi Sunghyun’s back. Soft moans filled the set. Each time they called each other’s names, a sense of longing and deep desire resonated.

    “Okay, cut!”

At the director’s shout, Choi Sunghyun looked down at Jaeyoon, panting heavily. Even after hearing “cut,” he couldn’t immediately step out of character. Jaeyoon was also breathing heavily.

    “Um…”

Jaeyoon gently pushed Choi Sunghyun’s chest, signaling that he should move. Only then did Choi Sunghyun come to his senses, letting out a dumbstruck sound, and got up.

“You were like a completely different person.”

At Choi Sunghyun’s words, Jaeyoon, who was closing his robe, turned around.

    “Is that a compliment?”

His smiling face was so innocent that it didn’t match the image of him drenched in pleasure just moments ago. Seeing that smile, Choi Sunghyun wondered what had happened in the past few days.

He almost had a rut reaction to Jaeyoon during the scene. Jaeyoon had seemed that seductive. It wasn’t that Jaeyoon was emitting omega pheromones. Yet, the touch of his hands on his back made his hair stand on end, and when Jaeyoon called his character’s name, it felt like a sweet pheromone scent was vibrating.

Lee Kangyoon’s request to take rut suppressants hadn’t been unreasonable after all. At the time, it had seemed like a strange request.

Yoon Jaeyoon, a beta, wasn’t just acting as an omega. Moments ago, under him, moaning and yearning for an alpha, was a perfect omega.

“Did something happen with Lee Kangyoon?”

He asked, wondering if something significant had happened to make Jaeyoon so aware of being an omega in just a few days.

    “Uh…?”

Jaeyoon, who usually didn’t blink an eye at any comment, even when discussing positions during bed scenes, widened his eyes and blushed.

Ah, he did it. The reaction was unmistakable, making Choi Sunghyun feel awkward too. He tried to hide his discomfort by smiling more, but the stark contrast between Jaeyoon’s usual demeanor and his current reaction made his own heart flutter.

    “Yoon Jaeyoon.”

Turning to the sound of his name, Jaeyoon saw Lee Kangyoon standing there. Why is he at the filming set? Before he could think, Kangyoon approached and draped the bedsheet over Jaeyoon.

    Why is he doing that?

His confusion was soon clarified. A sweet scent was actually emanating from Jaeyoon. Choi Sunghyun looked down at Jaeyoon, covered in the sheet, and saw Kangyoon sighing. He chuckled.

Even during the intense bed scene, no pheromones had been detected, but just from thinking about Lee Kangyoon and their time together, pheromones were now seeping out.

    “Is the filming over?”

Kangyoon asked Choi Sunghyun. Thinking it was done since the director shouted “OK,” he nodded and lifted Jaeyoon, who was rolled up in a sheet.

    “Whoa! Hyung!”

Jaeyoon flailed in surprise but Kangyoon didn’t care.

    “Excuse me first.”

Even in this situation, Kangyoon politely greeted Choi Sunghyun and carried Jaeyoon out of the set.

    “They must be really close.”

Choi Sunghyun’s manager approached and handed over a gown.

That’s probably more than just close.

Choi Sunghyun thought to himself but just laughed it off.

“But why did Lee Kangyoon come here?”

When asked, the manager shrugged, not knowing either.

“Probably for our OST recording. Lee Kangyoon is going to write and compose it, and if possible, they want the two leads to sing it themselves.”

A passing staff member overheard Choi Sunghyun and answered instead.

    “Themselves?”

“It’s the production company’s request. It would create more buzz if the two of them sing it.”

It wasn’t unusual for actors to sing the OST themselves, so the staff didn’t seem to think much of it.

    “Is it… a love song?”

    “Most likely.”

Considering the movie’s content, it was obvious that an emotionally charged song would come out.

“Will Lee Kangyoon be there for the OST recording?”

    “Of course.”

Choi Sunghyun covered his face at the manager’s guess.

Just a while ago, Lee Kangyoon was an alpha who didn’t want to show his lover in front of others. Even knowing it was acting, he was wary of Choi Sunghyun, emitting alpha pheromones. Could he capture the emotions of a lover facing Yoon Jaeyoon in front of Lee Kangyoon? Even as a veteran actor, he was worried.

Moreover, he was genuinely shaken by Jaeyoon’s reaction during the acting. Seeing his reflection in Jaeyoon’s eyes, filled with longing as if looking at someone he truly loved, he almost lost his reason. It felt like Lee Kangyoon had seen through all his inner thoughts… it was unsettling.

Thud. As soon as the waiting room door closed, Kangyoon pulled the sheet off Jaeyoon’s face. Finally, Jaeyoon’s face was fully visible, and a sweet scent wafted over.

Sighing, Kangyoon grabbed Jaeyoon’s face and kissed him.

    “Wait, ugh!”

Jaeyoon’s hands, which had been pushing Kangyoon’s shoulders in surprise, gradually lost strength and followed the kiss. The sound of their mingled saliva made a lewd noise as their tightly locked lips slightly parted. Jaeyoon flinched at the sound. Kangyoon tilted his head slightly and kissed him again, exploring Jaeyoon’s mouth. The sweet scent grew stronger, almost paralyzing his mind.
