As Minjun tightened around him while climaxing, Soohyuk’s movements became even more intense. Soon, he too reached the peak of pleasure, his body tensing. The only sounds in the silence was their ragged breathing.

Minjun opened his eyes to the sound of ringing in his ears and found himself locking gazes with Soohyuk. Without knowing who initiated it, their lips naturally met. Soohyuk cupped Minjun’s cheeks with both hands, and Minjun wrapped his arms around Soohyuk’s neck.

    “Hmm…”

The sound of their tongues intertwining echoed lewdly. Their kiss, as if they were devouring each other, lasted for a long time. Only after their racing hearts calmed did their lips finally part.

With his forehead resting against Soohyuk’s cheek, Minjun murmured.

“…You said you wouldn’t move until the end?”

    “I couldn’t help it.”

    “I knew that’d happen.”

    “Really?”

Feeling Soohyuk gently stroking the back of his head, Minjun took a deep breath. He needed to move before Soohyuk decided to go for another round.

    “Let’s get up now.”

As Minjun slowly sat up, Soohyuk supported his waist. The sensation of Soohyuk’s member slipping out always felt strange, making Minjun grimace as he lay back on the bed. Sex felt more exhausting than hunting monsters in a dungeon.

Soohyuk discarded the condom and handed Minjun a potion he had prepared on the nightstand.

    “Drink this.”

    “I don’t want to.”

    “Why not?”

“If I drink it, we’ll have to go again.”

Their first time having sex had ended after just one round. The next times, it had been three or four. While the sex was good, Minjun wanted to stop at a reasonable point. Right now, he felt pleasantly languid and satisfied.

“We can still do it without you drinking it.”

    “Right now is perfect.”

Seeing Minjun half-sitting up and looking ready to bolt, Soohyuk burst into laughter. Covered in kiss marks, lying disheveled, and saying this was perfect in a wobbly voice—it was hard to believe.

Honestly, Soohyuk wanted to go for another round, but remembering that Minjun had just been discharged from the hospital today, he held back.

    “Is there anywhere that hurts?”

    “My back hurts.”

“You were discharged today, so it’s best not to overdo it.”

“Oh, right. I was discharged today.”

As if just remembering, Minjun emphasized his discharge. In the end, Soohyuk put the potion down and lay close to Minjun. Then, seeing Minjun’s wary eyes, he gently kissed his cheek.

    “Sleep here today.”

“It’s not even 6 PM yet.”

    “What does that matter?”

“The guild cafeteria’s dinner menu is marinated ribs tonight.”

Minjun, who knew the guild cafeteria menu by heart, stated this clearly and firmly. Seeing Minjun’s determination not to miss the marinated ribs, Soohyuk laughed again.

This must be what people call adorable.

Realizing he was completely smitten, Soohyuk offered a solid alternative.

“Let’s go eat ribs then, I suppose. They’ll taste even better grilled over charcoal. We can order both cold noodles and spicy cold noodles. And on the way back, we can get some ice cream.”

Soohyuk knew exactly what Minjun liked. When he mentioned ribs, charcoal grill, spicy cold noodles, cold noodles, and ice cream in succession, his eyes sparkled.

    “Yes. Sounds great.”

It was easy to lure Minjun with food. So much so that Soohyuk worried Minjun might actually follow someone who promised him delicious treats.

“Shall we wash up and go?”

Soohyuk kissed Minjun’s cheek again as he smiled.

    Bzzzz.

    Beep beep beep.

Just as they were about to get up, an alarm sounded. Both Minjun and Soohyuk’s eyes turned to the clothes scattered on the floor.

In their haste to get to the bed, their phones had ended up inside their coats.

    “I’ll check it.”

    “Where is it?”

    “Just a moment.”

Soohyuk retrieved his phone from his coat. The alert tone for a dungeon break was distinct from other notifications.

[Notice from the National Security Agency.

A sudden dungeon break has occurred near the intersection of Seokchon Lake (West Lake) in Jamsil-dong.

Please evacuate to a safe indoor location.

    The dungeon is B-class.]

After checking the message, Soohyuk gauged the distance. Seokchon Lake was quite close from here.

    “Jamsil. Seokchon Lake.”

    “That’s close.”

    “You stay here.”

    “What?”

“Don’t even think about moving. I’ll go.”

    “Why?”

Minjun looked at Soohyuk with wide eyes. When a dungeon break occurred, hunters from the nearest guild were the first to be mobilized. Nearby hunters often volunteered as well.

As a C-class hunter, it would be tough for Minjun to fight monsters pouring out of a B-class dungeon head-on. Still, he could help civilians who couldn’t evacuate or prevent secondary damage.

“You were discharged from the hospital today. You need to rest.”

    “I’m fine.”

“No, you’re not. I don’t want to be the kind of guild leader who overworks a hunter who just got discharged. Stay here. I’ll handle it quickly.”

“Then… I’ll just come along to give you a buff.”

“You can give me the buff here before I go. If you really want to come, try to beat me first.”

“There’s no way I can beat you, guild leader.”

    “I’ll be back soon.”

    “Alright.”

Though Minjun felt wronged, he didn’t insist. Seokchon Lake was relatively close. As Soohyuk said, he could give the buff here, and Soohyuk would quickly handle a B-class dungeon break.

Though he understood, he was still a bit dissatisfied. As he pouted, Soohyuk came over and gave him a light kiss.

“You seem full of energy. If you keep this up, we’ll go for a few more rounds when I get back.”

    “That’s a threat.”

    “As long as you know.”

Soohyuk licked Minjun’s tongue softly before heading to the bathroom. Minjun didn’t realize that Soohyuk was intentionally trying to keep up the physical contact. He just thought it was okay to have some light touches right after sex. Still, the tongue licking was a bit stimulating.

He liked this kind of thing.

Minjun, thinking that Soohyuk must like being clingy, picked up the clothes scattered on the floor and placed them on a chair. Then he took his phone out of his coat and checked the emergency alert, letting out a bitter laugh.

He faced his anxiety. Being alone was fine. But waiting alone was not. He would rather struggle and fight monsters. It wasn’t loneliness; he just hated being left behind.

“A B-class break should be over quickly, right?”

He muttered to himself while sitting on the edge of the bed. Soohyuk, fully dressed, appeared in less than five minutes after entering the bathroom.

    “Why are you so fast?”

    “Because it’s urgent?”

Soohyuk grabbed his phone from the nightstand and looked at Minjun. When Minjun just stared up at him, Soohyuk reached out and ruffled his hair.

    “Are you mad?”

    “No.”

Minjun shook his head. He felt a bit off, but he wasn’t angry.

“It’ll be over in about an hour. Get ready. We’ll go out for dinner as soon as I get back.”

    “Okay.”

“But aren’t you going to do it?”

    “Do what…? Oh, right.”

Minjun finally remembered he needed to give Soohyuk a buff. He kissed the back of Soohyuk’s hand, and the skill activated perfectly.

    “Wait here quietly.”

    “Uh-huh… Come back soon.”

Minjun replied with genuine concern. He couldn’t say he hated being left alone, but he still wished Soohyuk would return quickly.

“Wow, are you trying to tempt me? Should I not go?”

    “No, I’m not.”

    “Fine. I’ll be back soon.”

Soohyuk smiled brightly, ruffled Minjun’s hair again, and left the room. Alone, Minjun touched the spot where Soohyuk’s hand had been and then started moving.

After showering, he put on the clothes he had set aside. He roughly tidied up the messy sheets and picked up his phone that had been vibrating since a while ago. He saw a bunch of unread messages in Team 1’s group chat.

The hunters in Team 1 got along well. They didn’t share personal stories in the chat, but they often competed to post funny memes or cute animal pictures. But today was different.

[Shin Youngjae: The guild leader is on TV!!!!!!!!!!!!]

Everyone reacted like they’d been stung by a bee to Shin Youngjae’s exclamation-filled message.

    [Choi Jaehoon: Really?]

    [Kim Nayeon: Where?]

    [Shin Youngjae: Everywhere!!!!]

[Choi Jaehoon: Looks like a dungeon break?]

[Park Heeseon: It’s on all the major networks]

    [Kim Nayeon: What’s going on?]

[Park Heeseon: There must’ve been an event at Seokchon Lake]

    [Kim Nayeon: Wow]

[Kim Nayeon: The camera is only showing the guild leader]

    [Shin Youngjae: He’s flying around]

[Park Heeseon: I almost feel sorry for the monsters]

[Choi Jaehoon: It’s a B-class dungeon break at the southwest side of Seokchon Lake, in the White Wing Guild and Great General Guild’s territory]

[Choi Yohan: Ignore any media calls. Don’t answer them at all]

[Ryu Kyungoh: Our team leader is like a ghost]

[Ryu Kyungoh: He contacts us right away]

Minjun quickly checked the messages, his mind filled with question marks.

    Soohyuk was on TV?

Since there was no TV in the bedroom, Minjun hurriedly went down to the living room. As soon as he turned on the TV with the remote, Soohyuk’s face filled the large screen.

    “Wow.”

Even on the high-definition big screen, Soohyuk’s face shone brightly. It’s been 12 years since the Great Catastrophe, and dungeon breaks had become a part of daily life. Unlike the early days, it was rare for dungeon breaks to be broadcast live on public TV.

There were a few YouTubers who specialized in covering dungeon breaks, and while they had a steady audience, they weren’t particularly popular. But surprisingly, today, it was being broadcast as breaking news on public TV. And the focus was entirely on Soohyuk’s exploits.

Just in case, Minjun changed the channel. Not only the public channels but also the cable channels were broadcasting the dungeon break live. And once again, the screen was filled with Soohyuk.
