    💫

“Yes, I think I can teleport when I hear voices.”

After sending the invitation to Tharrott, Hanaella called Lord Shia to ask him for details on when he could teleport.

She was confident that her power alone would be enough to subdue Tharrott in a pinch, but it could not hurt to be prepared.

“Then, if anything should happen to me, I will call Lord Shia’s name, and when you hear my voice, you will teleport immediately.”

    “Understood.”

Shia said readily, having already heard all about Hanaella’s revenge on Tharrott.

“And I have another thing for you to do, have you ever met Lady Rosaryn?”

    “No.”

“Good. While Count Tarot is with me, I want you to bind Lady Rosaryn’s feet, for I don’t want her to notice until Lady Brandz has done her job successfully.”

    “You mean bind her feet…”

“I want you to approach Lady Rosaryn. Tell her it was love at first sight, or that you’ve had a crush on her ever since you saw her at a party somewhere, or anything else you can think of that will mesmerize her, and use your beauty to hold her off.”

    “…”

“It won’t take long, just stay with her for half a day or so, just in case.”

“…Do I have to keep her feet tied?”

“Yes. If Lady Rosaryn should ever find out that her stepbrother is with Brandz, my plan will be ruined.”

    “…”

“So make sure you keep her. Handsome or otherwise.”

    “…Understood.”

No matter how much Rosaryn was in love with Tharrott, Hanaella thought, she would be swayed to some extent by a purely handsome man of this caliber taking a liking to her.

While she knew that she had never been tempted by other men at parties or anywhere else, she could see how she would be swayed by Shia.

His appearance and physique were so different from that of the average young men.

The only question was whether she would be attracted to him.

‘Well, that’s what teaching is all about.’

As I stared at Shia with these thoughts, I realized that his cheeks were slowly turning red.

The stare seemed to embarrass him.

A blush on a man’s face could be so sexy, Hanaella thought, as she watched him grow sexier and more handsome, and she wondered if it was due to her own lack of sympathy.

Seeing Shia’s face made her feel a little better about Lloyd.

Suddenly, she remembered the oral s*x she’d tried to perform in the shower earlier, and she told him.

“If this all goes according to plan, with Lord Shia keeping Lady Rosaryn’s feet well tied, I will reward you.”

    “…?”

“I’m thinking of doing something I’ve never done before, what do you think, Lord Shia?”

    “…?”

Shia stared at her wordlessly, puzzled by Hanaella’s question.

Tapping her index finger against her lips a couple of times, Hanaella pointed to Shia’s lower lip.

    “In the mouth.”

    Ugh~

Shia’s face burned as if it would explode at any moment. Hanaella chuckled at his reaction.

“It’s my first time too, so I’m a little nervous, but don’t worry, I’ve studied the ins and outs of how to make sure I don’t hurt you.”

    “…”

“Well, I’ve heard it hurts a lot if you do it wrong.”

Hanaella spoke so casually that Shia didn’t know how to react, so instead turned to the other side and covered both eyes with one hand. Shia’s lower lip twitched unbidden.

Once he was back to his shy, cute self, the one who had been scolding him like an adult for using the family’s secret healing power, Hanaella found it so endearing.

She reached out and took his hand in hers. She kissed the back of his hand and said to him,

    “You’re so cute, Lord Shia.”

    💫

Arriving twenty minutes earlier than he had been invited, Tharrott sat in Ariel’s reception room, sipping the tea the maid had served him and looking around nervously.

His heart was pounding with the thought that today he could make Hanaella truly his.

I considered the possibility that it might fail, but there was no way she would not drink the medicine, not knowing she was taking Delphiter.

After all, it was her house, and her maid was serving the tea, so it was only natural that she would drink it without question.

The problem was that she had to drink the tea cold because the delimiter loses its medicinal properties when steeped in hot water, and how to get it into the tea without her knowledge.

Tharrott thought long and hard about how to ask for cold tea and how to create a situation where she would have to go to the bathroom.

A few moments later, Hanaella walked through the door, ready to go, and Tharrott’s eyes widened.

Her usual neat and elegant appearance hadn’t changed, but she seemed to have gained a different color in the time he hadn’t seen her.

Tharrott’s eyes twitched with nervousness and excitement as he rose to greet her.

    “You’re early, Count Thearine.”

“One can never be late for an honored invitation.”

Handsome, to be sure. And mannered.

Hanaella watched Tharrott, his dark golden hair exceptionally well-cut, stand until he was seated, and she remembered a time when she had loved this man more than herself.

Back then, she had truly seen nothing but him.

‘First love. Yes, it was my first love, and I loved him so much that I would have given him everything I had.’

I didn’t realize that the love he gave me was a lie. I was stupid. Very much stupid.

“The reason I’ve called you to my home is because, as you wrote in your letter, I need to discuss something with you.”

    “Yes, please do. My lady.”

“But first, I want you to tell me the truth about the relationship between the Count Thearine and Lady Rosaryn.”

    “…!”

    “Are you lovers?”

Tharrott didn’t know how to answer Hanaella’s sudden question. He hadn’t expected her to ask this question.

Feeling his mouth go dry, Tharrott wetted his lips with his tongue.

Hanaella didn’t miss the look on Tharrott’s face and told Belle to bring her another cup of tea.

Bell brought the tea herself, exchanged a glance with Hanaella, and set the teacup and teapot down on the table.

Hanaella picked up the teapot herself and poured Tharrott some tea, saying.

“Here you go. I thought you might benefit from some cold tea.”

    “Thank you.”

The cold tea felt heavenly. Tharrott felt relieved that he was at least over the hump.

As he lifted the tea to his mouth, Hanaella asked him again.

    “You’re a couple, right?”

Tharrott said to her, removing the teacup from his lips.

“You must have a misunderstanding. Rosaryn and I are not like that, we are siblings, even if we are not blood related, which I doubt.”

Hanaella’s face wilted at Tharrott’s words.

“I see. I’m going to have to leave for a while, if you don’t mind? It won’t take long.”

Tharott nodded, “Oh, of course, sure.”

Hanaella left to fetch some tea and went outside.

Left alone, Tharrott stretched his cravat, which had grown stiff with nervousness, a little with his index finger, and looked down at his unfinished tea.

He swallowed dryly, realizing that now would be the perfect time to add the delphiter to Hanaella’s tea.

Tharrott took a sip of his own tea, then reached into his pocket to slip the Delphiter into Hanaella’s tea.

Suddenly, with a jarring sensation, Tharrott’s vision went dark.

It happened so fast. Tharrott collapsed onto the couch, unconscious.

A moment later, the door opened and Hanaella and Belle entered.

    “Belle, call for them.”

Edward’s men came first, hiding before Tharrott came.

Hanaella ordered Belle to summon them, then looked down at Tharrott, who was fast asleep from Delphiter.

“If you had told me the truth, I would have had mercy on you for old times’ sake, and surely I would have ended my revenge in a way that was not so bad for my good.”

Hanaella turned away from him and continued, “You’re the one who dragged Lady Brandz into this, Tharrott.”
