There are No Bad Troublemakers in the World

<You have acquired the skill [Golden Child Status Notification]! You can now better understand the state of children in need of your help.>

Edith Irene Brussels had one secret: she had experienced possession.

One day, she suddenly became Edith, finding herself in a completely different era and in a strange land whose name she had never heard before! And with that came an unusual ability invisible to others.

To find a way back, Edith made a bold choice: a contract marriage with a genius mage duke.

    “Will you marry me?”

    “Yes! I’d be delighted!”

    However…

“What a surprise. Does she really think she’s fit to be the mistress of a ducal household?”

“Brussels? Has anyone even heard of that family?”

Nobles ostracized her, dismissing her as someone from a fallen house.

    ‘Just perfect!’

She took it positively, going about her way alone, only to encounter children struggling in the shadows of high society.

    <Stress Level: 130/100 [!!DANGER!!]>

[The golden child needs immediate care.]

“Viscountess, would you please hold the child’s hand?”

Unable to just stand by, she stepped in to help, eventually becoming known as the “Problem Solver.”

“Duchess, would you be available to meet privately sometime next week?”

“Me too! Could you possibly visit our estate?”

From being an outcast in society to becoming the most sought-after guest—it was quite a change.

As she began to adjust to her new social status, her husband started behaving strangely.

“Is that what people usually call ‘liking’ someone?”

“I suppose that could be it.”

“In that case, what I like… is you.”

Oh, good heavens—who confesses like that?!

Note on the title: Although the original text was 금쪽이 with a literal translation as ‘Golden Child’, it also generally translates to ‘a troublemaker’. As such, I’ve used ‘Troublemaker’ for the title, but will be using ‘Golden Child’ to fit the context of the story. This is also a reference to the Korean parenting show My Golden Kids that started in 2020.
