MS Extra 4 part 1
by AnonAnemoneWhen she woke up from a deep sleep, Euncho was alone in the bedroom.
She was enjoying a rare weekend without work, so she was at Ki Taeju’s house instead of the hotel. Compared to the brilliant colors of the hotel, this place was a lot like its owner: calm and quiet. Therefore, it made her feel a lot more relaxed and at peace.
‘But still. I slept way too much.’
She checked the clock on the table. When she saw that it was past noon, she was shocked.
Was she about to catch a cold? She was a lot sleepier these days, and her limbs felt stiff.
Even as she was getting out of bed, she still felt drowsy as she nodded her head, almost falling back asleep. She quickly came back to her senses and walked into the bathroom. Euncho washed her face and brushed her teeth to shake off the rest of her sleepiness. Then she opened the door and walked into the living room.
The natural sunlight illuminated the hallway as she made her way towards the open balcony and the sofa that was situated close to it. She saw Ki Taeju sitting on the sofa, so she approached him.
The smoke from the cigarette in his mouth flowed up as he looked through the documents in his hand. Ki Taeju noticed her presence and turned his head. Euncho walked up to him and perched herself on his lap as if it was naturally her spot. He put the cigarette between his fingers and took it far away from her.
“When did you get up?”
Euncho murmured as he pressed his lips to her temple. Then he answered her in a low voice.
“Way before you did.”
“Mm… I’m sleepy.”
Euncho buried her face against Ki Taeju’s shoulder and rubbed it.
“Then you should sleep some more.”
They weren’t in a hurry this weekend, so the peaceful mood continued to flow around them. He stroked her hips that were covered by a thin slip with his hand.
“But I’m also hungry.”
“That’s rare.”
“I know… I’ve been feeling quite hungry these days.”
Still feeling sleepy, Euncho struggled to keep her eyes open. Not wanting to waste away her weekend, she let out a groan as she stretched.
After straightening up, she snatched the cigarette from between Ki Taeju’s fingers. After taking a deep drag, she spit out the smoke. Ki Taeju’s intense eyes were fixed on her face.
He always looked at her with those eyes whenever she smoked. Mellow and full of meaning. Lust would simmer in his gaze as he stared at her.
As the smoke flowed out with her breath, Euncho began to chuckle.
“You really never change, babe.”
“What do you mean?”
“You pretend you’re not horny even though you are.”
She could clearly feel something hard and swollen beneath her bottom.
Unlike his apathetic expression, the proof of his arousal was abundantly obvious. Ki Taeju chuckled as he swept back his hair, seemingly uninterested in hiding it.
His languid eyes traveled from her face to her cleavage.
“How could I not be turned on when you’re walking around, showing your tits?”
Euncho stopped herself from putting the cigarette back inside her mouth and looked down.
Just like he said, the see-through material of the slip exposed her plump breasts. From the milky color of her skin to the circular shape at the tip.
The length barely covered Euncho’s bottom. Ki Taeju slipped the hem of the skirt up and swallowed her breast now that his bored mouth was robbed of its cigarette.
Nng, a strange moan burst out of Euncho’s mouth.
“It hurts. Don’t bite it.”
Because he had chewed and licked it so much last night, the skin of her nipples were red and swollen. He had been obsessed with stimulating them, and it was now engorged. Ki Taeju’s rough tongue had affectionately played around with it for a long time.
“Ah, but it really hurts.”
Every time he nibbled on her nipples, a wave of pain followed. It felt especially painful today. Not just her nipples but her entire breasts throbbed.
Her hips arched and her toes clenched due to the pain. Euncho frowned and pushed his head away. He must not have been too interested in another loud, messy session of sex at this time because he obediently pulled back.
“What do you want to eat?”
He seemed more focused on feeding Euncho as he lowered the slip back over her damp breasts.
Strangely, Euncho was hungry, but she didn’t feel like eating anything in particular. Eating a meal sounded like it would be too much, but she didn’t feel like eating anything else. After a moment of mulling over it, she decided she wanted to eat something hot and spicy.
“Mm, ramen?”
“Not that.”
“Why not?! Ramen is tasty.”
“How old are you? How can you still want to eat something like that?”
“What you just said is a blasphemy to ramen… Grandmas and grandpas can eat ramen too, alright? You need to apologize to them.”
Even though she scolded him, it didn’t seem to register.
In the end, Ki Taeju rolled up his sleeves and went into the kitchen to make brunch. Even though he didn’t really care about what he himself ate, he always made a big fuss over what she ate.
“You woke up just in time. There’s something you need to do.”
“Hm? What is it?”
Euncho’s eyes widened as she shoved some crispy bacon and scrambled eggs into her mouth.
Ki Taeju rifled through the pile of documents on the side before pulling out a piece of paper. Euncho bit into a slice of baguette with butter and took the paper from him.
“What do I need to do?”
It was a list of hoteliers that worked at the Eatons Hotel.
“Pick about five people who are good at their work.”
“Why?”
“We have an overseas investor coming in, and he will be staying at your hotel. We will be giving him our pitches and holding various meetings at the hotel as well, so make sure you pick someone with good performance.”
Euncho sipped on the coffee she had asked him to make her as she looked down the list. It contained their photos from when they first joined the hotel along with an assessment from their direct supervisors.
“Hyunji-ssi is very friendly and works very well. Moonju-ssi is good at thinking on her feet, and…”
Because Euncho worked with them, she knew their work ethic better than anyone. She recited what came to mind as she made her way down the list. She suddenly froze and began to laugh.
“Doing this makes me feel like someone high up.”
“Not ‘feels like’. You are someone high up.”
Euncho’s laugh quickly turned awkward. When he saw this sudden change, it was now Ki Taeju’s turn to laugh.
After Euncho had secretly gone out to attend the arranged meeting, many things had changed between them.
If she had to choose which aspect was the most astonishing…
‘Sign this.’
‘Hm? Sign what?’
While Euncho was in the middle of work, she was summoned by Ki Taeju. After placing her on his lap, he abruptly asked her to do something. He placed a thick stack of papers and handed her a pen. Euncho couldn’t hide her confusion.
‘What? What is this?’
Because she knew he would never do something to put her in danger, Euncho signed the rectangles that he gestured to on every page. Euncho looked back and forth between him and the papers.
The former and the latter, ownership and title, shares and holdings… all these unfamiliar terms floated aimlessly in her eyes.
Despite her questions, Ki Taeju merely told her where to sign as he flipped through the pages. When Euncho had finished signing the last page, he finally gave her an answer.
‘It’s yours now.’
‘What is?’
‘This hotel.’
‘…What?’
‘You’re the owner now.’
It turned out that the main office had isolated the hotel from its holdings and had transferred ownership of the hotel to Euncho.
She was not the joint owner. She was the sole owner.
This was the secret bribe and heartfelt wedding gift that he had been preparing before meeting Euncho’s mother.
He had always been saying he’d give the hotel to her, but she thought he was just joking. She never dreamed that it would actually happen.
‘No! You can’t!’
‘What do you mean I can’t?’
‘I-I’m scared of taking on such a huge responsibility. I can’t handle it. Just the thought of it makes me nauseous…’
Having unexpectedly become the owner of a five-star hotel, Euncho grabbed the nape of Ki Taeju’s neck and begged him to take it back. However, Ki Taeju didn’t budge.
After her earnest pleas, Ki Taeju employed managerial specialists to take care of the day-to-day tasks of the hotel owner. But the official owner of the hotel was still Euncho.
And after all this was settled, they had to face the final storm. A three-person meeting between Euncho, her mother, and Ki Taeju.
‘I’m late due to some work that came up. My apologies.’
That day, due to some work that had suddenly landed on his desk, Ki Taeju was a bit late to the meeting. He sat down next to Euncho as if it were naturally his spot and greeted her mother. He arrived late, but he still greeted her without seeming embarrassed or disappointed by his delayed arrival. From her mother’s perspective, it was impossible to not see him as a brazen man.
However, even though her mother wasn’t aware of it, Euncho knew right away. Ki Taeju was very nervous.
Her mother gazed at Ki Taeju with observant eyes. And the first words that she said to him were exactly what they expected.
‘…Pardon me, but… How old are you…?’
Just as they’d feared, her mother did not like Ki Taeju. No, rather than liking or not liking him, her mother did not think they were a good match. They were just too different in her eyes.
For starters, he was the owner of the hotel where Euncho worked, and he was also the executive director of a major company that owned the holding company of the hotel. Not only that, but there was also a considerable age gap between them. Ki Taeju’s worries and concerns were perfectly realized.
But they understood why her mother felt this way.
Her daughter never dated or introduced anyone she had been dating to her. Therefore, her mother couldn’t help but feel that this man, who was more advanced in years than her daughter, was pulling the wool over her daughter’s head.
However, after their awkward first meeting, the three of them met a few more times. As he continued to show her his sincerity, proving it with the fact that he had transferred ownership of the hotel to Euncho as a way to solidify their future, her mother’s heart slowly opened up to him.
The two of them continued to contact each other without Euncho’s knowledge. One day, Euncho suddenly heard that her mother was going on an overseas trip with her stepfather. When she asked her about it, she quickly learned that Ki Taeju was sending them the trip.
‘Even though he’s not very friendly, he is quite dependable. I only brought it up in passing, but he didn’t forget it and took care of it. I think that kind of man is a better match for you. You know how careless you can be.’
Even though it was too early, her mother was the one who started calling him ‘Ki-seobang1, Ki-seobang’. Euncho was quite relieved.
Like that, they managed to pass through the mountainous obstacle in front of them. Naturally, the talk of marriage followed, and the wedding date was set to the month between the spring and summer of the following year. The two of them were now steadily preparing for their wedding.
Just last night, Euncho was mulling over what color to use for their wedding invitations before falling asleep.
“Aigoo.”
“What?”
“Just the thought of passing out the wedding invitations makes me nervous… I don’t know what to tell them as I hand them out.”
Just the thought of handing out the wedding invitations she had been designing last night to the people listed on this document made her body grow damp with cold sweat.
When she passed them out, she could no longer keep her and Ki Taeju’s relationship a secret. Even though this was a hurdle she’d have to overcome at some point, she wanted to push it back for as long as possible.
“But, babe…”
“What?”
“What about me?”
Euncho frowned as she looked through the list more than once.
Ki Taeju, who had been wiping away the bread crumbs from around her mouth, asked back in a calm voice.
“What about you?”
“Why did you leave me out? I can work too.”
After checking several times, she realized that she was not included in the list of employees.
Ki Taeju paused as he stared at her. Then he picked up a bite-sized piece of strawberry with a fork and put it in her mouth.
“If you’re there, I’ll get distracted.”
So that’s why he left her out?
There were a plethora of things she wanted to say, but she couldn’t say them right away due to the strawberry. After she chewed on the refreshing fruit, she began to protest.
“I can do a good job, too. You say I’m the owner of the hotel, but why do you leave me out in things like this? I want to do it. If you’re going to choose five, you can just include me.”
Ki Taeju looked like he wanted to say something, but when he saw the fire burning in Euncho’s eyes, he decided to let it go. After stroking her cheek, he let out a sigh.
“I’ll think about it.”
She wanted to pester him some more, but Ki Taeju was one step ahead of her. He quickly pushed her half-eaten piece of bread into her mouth.
* * *
“Euncho-ssi, did you see the announcement?”
Euncho had just come down from the EFL to eat lunch when she was stopped by a fellow colleague.
These days, Euncho still felt hungry but didn’t really have an appetite, so she was debating on whether to grab a cup of coffee instead of eating her lunch at the cafeteria. When she was asked this question, she shook her head.
“Why? Did something happen?”
“A VIP guest will be staying here tomorrow. He’s a guest of the main office, so I think we’ll have to be extra careful with him… It looks like a few members of the F/O department were chosen for the task.”
The colleage gave her a brief summary as she looked down at her phone. She clicked the link that revealed the list of five employees who were recruited to help with the VIP guest.
“Euncho-ssi is on here too.”
Euncho peeked over at the phone and grinned. He said he’d think about it, and it seemed that he had given in to her stubborn request.
She made her way to the cafeteria and took the offered bread before making her way to the table. Her colleagues who were already sitting there were talking about the VIP guest announcement.
She had the bread, but she didn’t have much of an appetite. The area above her belly button was also throbbing. Euncho merely played with the fruit salad that was given out as a dessert as she listened to the conversation.
“But I wonder what criteria they used to choose the five.”
“You’re right. Did the manager choose?”
I recommended them. Euncho couldn’t confess this, so she merely pretended to follow along as she chewed on a fresh apple slice.
“But if the guest is a VIP, does that mean the executive director will be here as well?”
“Probably, don’t you think?”
“It would be perfect if we can just look at the executive director’s face while they’re having their meeting.”
Euncho didn’t like the texture of the cabbage so she began to search for another apple slice. When she heard what they said, her hand froze.
“…The executive director?”
Are they talking about the same executive director I know?
Euncho did her best to close her mouth that had opened in shock.
“Are you talking about the executive director from the main office?”
“Yes. Is there another executive director other than him?”
“No, there isn’t. Ah, that’s right. Euncho-ssi must see him more often since she works at the EFL.”
“I’m so jealous. You are so lucky…”
“Last time, after I finished my shift, I saw him on my way home. He really is handsome, isn’t he?”
As they continued to chatter on with awe, Euncho found it more difficult to maintain her expression. It sounded like they were talking about Ki Taeju, but she wasn’t sure why they all had the same reaction.
“Uh, is the e-executive director very popular?”
She was so shocked that she couldn’t help the stutter from leaving her mouth. When the rest of them heard her, they all looked at her in disbelief.
“You didn’t know? There are so many female employees who wait out at the back door once their shifts are finished to catch a glimpse of him before they go.”
“I wondered if we were the only ones who felt this way, but the rumors have already spread in the back office.”
“No wonder. I did notice that a lot of B/O staff have been loitering around the front desk lately.”
Euncho wanted to cover her mouth with her hand at this new shocking discovery.
Ki Taeju?
Since when?
Since when was my Ki Taeju this popular?
“Last time, Jihye-ssi even went as far as to drop her wallet in front of him.”
“But the crazy thing was what happened after. It would be difficult for anyone to ignore something like that happening right in front of their face, but the executive director didn’t even spare her one glance as he walked past her.”
My god. Who dared to resort to such trickery?
While she had been busy talking and playing with Ki Taeju, Ki Taeju had turned into a hot potato among the female employees.
How dare they? He’s my potato!
